This writer is the only writer that has makes me laugh out loud for a long duration of time. Although I was not a fan of the plot of Shopping King, the first 2 episodes had me dying of laughter.
I agree. I keep rewatching this drama and stopping at the same spot because I keep forgetting how bad it is ?. I must say, this drama does have some iconic scenes. Even years after watching this drama, I still remember them vividly and am lured to rewatch this drama because of them.

I actually love Gui's acting, it's very natural. For example, when Solo was asking why he was angry after he waited outside the shop in the first episode. He only slightly changed his facial expressions but you could tell he was angry, mainly because of the look in his eyes. Usually in other Thai dramas the person completely morphs their face to display the emotion and it ruins the vibs for me, because that wouldn't really happen in real life. A lot of people complain because he's not expressing enough but usually I find in Thai dramas (especially Thai BLs) that actors over-act, almost like it's a slapstick comedy. However, I do think that Solo's acting is a bit awkward.
Felt like if they wanted to make a sequel or use a plot that is a continuation of the first movie they should…
This movie was just supposed to be set in the same universe. From the beginning they were advertising it as an action film. The plot never have anything to do with Train to Busan (besides it being in the same universe) and they have a totally different cast. A lot of people are disappointed because they were expecting something like Train to Busan, but I thought it was obvious from how they were promoting the film that it wasn't going to be like that.
I'm really on the fence of whether to watch this or not, and the comment section either strongly recommends it…
This drama is really good but I think people are upset because of the lack of romance. As other people have said this drama is romantic but it's not in your face romantic, there's an underlying tone of romance. Majority of this show is about murders and crime, so if you're going to watch the show for romance I don't think you should watch it. There's barely any romantic scenes between the leads but there's a sort of understanding between them, they seem to know they like each other.

I am old enough to be in college so if I'm not ready for films like this then idk when I'll ever be ready. This movie did not upset me at all, infact it made me more confused than anything. I have watched several movies that have approached topics like this way more tactfully than this movie, this is not a matter of me "not being ready for it". You still seem to be hung up on the plot but what I said about the film did not mention the plot. I do not have a problem with shows which bring up topics similar to this, but I have a problem with this show because of other reasons like, the cinematography, the lack of flow between scenes, plot holes, inappropriate reactions to situations, and so on. A movie having a 18+ does not excuse it from distastefully handling the topic of underaged sex btw. You should reread what I said about the film.

Everything goes so fast I mean before they even roll the title screen SO MUCH HAS HAPPENED LIKE OMG. The movie is shot terribly it's like they just did certain editing because it looked cool. The reactions to some situations were completely inappropriate, like what kind of 13 year old is excited an happy when getting a pregnancy test to find out if she's pregnant or not (especially when she wants the test to be negative)??? On top of her being excited an happy her mood suddenly and swiftly changes??? Also what kind of guy is explaining to a girl that his parents got divorced while trying to kiss her for the first time like wtf... There are so many random scenes that were added to the movie but have no relation to the plot or they were just left with no explanation. The movie also uncomfortably talks about underaged sex and makes it seem okay for kids to be engaged in sexual activities. Like the female lead's little sister (she's probably 13) is shaming her older sister for not having sex, but the little sister is having sex??? There are so many things wrong with this movie that I can't even go into it. ALSO why tf does the male lead (out heart throb) look like an incel. It's one thing to let a guy talk shit about you and to you 24/7 and then fall in love with him, but it's another thing if he's UGLY too. Trash can't even describe this movie.

I think majority of people still watching it are watching it for the side characters. Cause the side characters have GREAT stories it's like the main plot and the side characters were written by two different people.
