I agree, I got into BL 2017 so this genuinely isn't bad for me. I've seen A LOT worse. I think people are used to high quality BLs so when they see old school ones they're like wtf. This would've been a hit back in the days, it's a whole lot better than the ones that were popular back then. It was quite enjoyable for me, I liked it more than KP (what everyone seems to be comparing it to).

i couldn't tell if that tiger was real or not. You could see it breathing and it would move its ears and face, but it was also oddly still??

The lead is crazy asl, but I love it! Moral of the story with this drama is to just leave me alone!!!!!

I think ppl are turned off but the fact that Win Team in UWMA and Between Us is different. They changed Win Teams story a bit for UWMA, but Between Us is based off the book. A lot of the people I see complaining just haven't read the book, and are assuming it to be like UWMA. People are also complaining because of the awkward NC scenes. Recent BLs have spicy NC scenes, but Between Us was filmed a while ago so it's a bit behind the times
