Unfortunately, most of bl drama from gmmtv are an adaptation of a thai bl novel, which mostly started off from…
I agree, I'm actually getting tired of Thai BLs. I was looking forward to "Oxygen" because I loved the Novel but they altered the story and added a fiancee/ex-girlfriend, an annoying fujoshi character who invades privacy, etc. so they could appeal more to the like you said "straight women who fetishize gay men." I will say that one drama that didn't disappoint was "I Told Sunset About You." If you haven't checked it out I suggest you do. Beautifully written story, the actors have such great chemistry that it literally took my breath away, and it's based off of the story of the actors playing the leads so no fanfic stuff. I'd honestly rank it in TOP 3 of my favourite LGBTQ+ shows world wide. There are only I think 5 episodes, but each episode is over an hour long.
Not even a sec is skippable .An Absolute MASTERPIECE
I didn't even notice that I didn't skip as much in this drama. The only time I skipped it when there was so much tension and my little heart couldn't take it so I had to skip.
Episode 3 was wow I cannot, I've watched a lot of BL and regular dramas, but I have never seen chemistry so far…
Yes, ALL of that tension was so SYCKOFEXVNLKESFVONREDKO. Like oh my god I was getting butterflies and they were just STARING AT EACH OTHER. I'm surprised they're friends irl, and childhood friends at that
