Why I could not find access them before a short while ago, on home page of drama is still puzzling me. Someone must have noticed my repeated complaining that we could not pin interesting subjects of shared infos there...

The summary is clear enough and there have been enough glowing reviews to show how the story is about the growing up of a child to rebellious adolescent and next, to fumbling young adult at 19, until she matured into the marriageable 20 (minimum age for marriage in China for women, 22 for men). He only fell for her when she was well past 19, and had no desire to rush her before he could marry her when she finished her studies as a past 21 graduate. The dating was sweet in those 3-4 years.

Was slightly toying with such an idea myself, to counter some water army hater types. But I am too lazy to go all out sjw-ing in warpaint for the sakes of a drama and even for sweet Lusi and crush-deserving CZY. Just saying : HL could have garnered an 11-15 from me, if it had been available. Or, as the grades go in Chinese schools and Gaokao : a 100 stellar perfect mark. So will recommend new watchers not to hold back when they love a love story ! I loooove this drama, but I am not that exclusive, so will also go watching my other crushes : BJT, YY (with 2Bin and other friends from his former dramas that one attentive watcher has pointed out...), ARJ, and the 2 years anticipated "oeuvre" of XZ. Not sure they will all deserve 10s from me, yet, BUT can I move from under that tree to get back to those other deserving dramas??? But it is not useful to dwell on these ; do we need to set up a boycotting thread targeting specific idiots and jealous types? Do we need to boycott The Whirlwind Girl ? Okay, it is not the ultimate masterpiece, but it was and is still enjoyable in its category, so I wouldn't go deleting it or suppressing it bc of one production member's misguided opinion that may have been triggered by "false friends". Given the magnitude of TLP in anticipation (it has been talked about for 2 YEARS!) and the huge fan base of Xiao Zhan as compared to that of almost rookie Chen Zheyuan and still young ZLS (despite all the work she has done), it is remarkable that Hidden Love and the two leads remain in the top list, faced with such heavyweight competition.
It will get better, just continue watching. Their superb acting made this drama popular. He's charming in Mr.Bad…
She always claimed to be subjective, with "weird ideas" and in the beginning, it did not faze me much. It is when she started preaching and imitating other parrots, being found out, and refusing to apologize, that she lost me. Totally, esp. with her malevolent misrepresentation of HL. I was just doubting her judgement before, but now I have proof about the way she truly goes beyond that, how she despises her audience. Do not listen or watch her videos, do not rely on her gold and land mines, is my advice.

There were a few excellent seduction scenes in that drama, yes. Not too many, never overdone, just a festival esp. in one episode that all us audience remember where Jiaxu went all out like a bullet train ! The next ones weaved in so much wholesome and not stifling respect that I was sighing in bliss : yes 🔥❤️🙂

She reincarnated as protective modern and finally understanding mom in cdrama modern times 🤣 In LLTG, after she "gave up" on educating CSS and handed the task over to the empress, she was not that psycho or monstrous as we at first perceived her to be... But I admit I almost dropped LLTG in the first episodes because of the traumatic scenes, thanking MDL drama watchers for explaining to me and pointing out when my feelings would change if I stuck through the first 4-5 episodes. They did, to the point that I was glued to screen and only could rave about that drama. Of course it helped that I found myself crushing on Wu Lei, just as I now do on Cheng Zheyuan 🤣🤣🤣 Serial screen crusher me !!! 🤣🤣🤣 If I was LBQ or a guy, I might crush on adorable ZLS too, or on Seven Tan, and a handful other ones. Bai Jingting, Yang Yang (good singers both), Zhang Binbin (to die for deep voice), Chen Yufei, Xiao Zhan (good singer, and I like that he sang the Sally Yeh song for the GB Area show recently), Xu Weizhou (excellent pop rocker), and Ren Jialun (yes he too, because I like his music, especially the non OST ones), Z.Tao (same reasons as for Allen Ren) and a dozen more are also on my "crush" list of actors which does include some who are not songbirds (like CZY 🤣🤣🤣) It will be hard to leave screens this summer with what's started and soon to land there!
