New outro? maybe I exited too fast: will go back to listen/watch :-).
Ah yes, now we have the Zhou Shen song "Also Very Worth it" for ep.14 end credits, instead of the Zhou Bichang "Ordinary Identity" like in episode 13. 😊 But the outro songs alternate since the beginning "Also Very Worth it"也很值得 (Eps 2, 4....14) "Ordinary Identity" 平凡身份 (Eps1, 3, ... 13)
I came across this in youtube. I don’t undestand alot of chinese so anyone who speak chinese can help me translate?…
The videos and first post are total gobbledygook interpretation. This is not speculating on what's upcoming. We've already seen those episodes!!! MengMeng never was sexually assaulted or seduced by TZ! I view her as a mentally unstable border nymphomaniac and PTSD sufferer from her previous relationship with a man (men? rapists? it never was clear) who knocked her up carelessly. Why she chose to cling to another male (TZ) is beyond me (unless she has a dangerous neurotic fixation on a male who looks available?). TZ is supposedly just trying to make amends for his early misdiagnosis and to view her as a regressive "child" in need of a big brother figure - or perhaps he is interested by her cute curly head and vapid eyes, since his behavior can be seen as quite ambiguous.
This is a part of the story that really lacks a lot of credibility : how could parents entrust (rather : abandon again) their hysterically ailing child to people who are neither friends nor family, nor trained psychiatrists, especially after these strange parents were so careless that they let her get into serious trouble causing her to be mutilated ? How could the master and his wife accept to take the girl in when she clearly can't be a student/disciple of TCM? They have no connection or training, with mental health care , nor agreement from authorities, nor run a monastery, and accepting to be burdened with her so informally can bring them trouble. Luckily, the rest of the story has many interesting and insightful features. And ZLS, of course.
Some apologies needs to be spoken in words not just assumed that it is done , meng meng storyline doesn't border…
pole? I think you mistyped and meant "pond" ? ( when the heartless "young master" abandoned drunk Cinderella on a bench some episodes back) Actually, Meng Meng's storyline does bother me, because it feels totally unnecessary to the plot and detracts from the realism in the story.
1 episode for tonight and 1 for tomorrow. Well, as the Master said, wine ought to be drunk in moderation; although I'd like to gulp more down like Toutou ;-)
From the observations and character development up until now, I believe that We Geng (RXZ) and Zhao Lusi (TT)…
You mean Wu Gang (playing master Ren). Agreeing with your assessment for this 1/4, first part. Rolling with the waves to see where curre nts will lead to.
A query, what did the girl from the beauty salon have that in the end it is not possible to understand the name…
you could just have googled up eccyesis (pronounced ex-eye-isis) from the subtitles : pregnancy resulting from gestation elsewhere than in the uterus. synonyms: ectopic gestation, ectopic pregnancy, extrauterine gestation, extrauterine pregnancy, metacyesis.. Extra uterine pregnancy, also called ectopic, is a possibly fatal condition. "Ectopic pregnancy is a known complication of pregnancy that can carry a high rate of morbidity and mortality when not recognized and treated promptly. Ectopic pregnancies may present with pain, vaginal bleeding, or more vague complaints such as nausea and vomiting." Next time some lady complains about pain in the belly, just don't routinely think it's make believe, menstrual pains, bad digestion, or a stomach bug, and let her go carelessly... It is not frequent, but does happen that it is that serious!
Starting to watch. Looked up the 24 solar terms of the Chinese agricultural calendar for more info; so Jingzhe was March 26 this year. Was thinking they could have released it then to satisfy the ZLS fandom.
Now, May 14 is when in this calendar?
I've posted info about the Jingzhe [惊蛰] and Lixia {立夏) solar terms and interesting stuff (such as links to the group "Yinque Poetry Listening Music Club." 【音阙诗听】which composed music for solar terms. Also the 2021 Zhao Lusi performance of Zhao Fangjing's Mangzhong [芒种] song). You'll find it in the discussion section above, or clicking the direct link to it here: https://kisskh.at/discussions/hou-lang/100789-about-traditional-chinese-culture You can add more, for instance if you want to discuss what you learn from drama about TCM, qigong, etc in relation to Chinese culture, if you feel like it !
The way Yang Yu switched from Taiwanese to Thai and I knew it immediately….I’ve been watching too many dramas
Yes, that was interesting! Breaking from Taiwanese mandarin to what I assumed was Thai (since the mother of the twins was supposed to be Thai) added to the strangeness of the scene. Yang Yu adult was played by Chanon Santinatornkul (nickname Nonkul or Non), so it was naturally inserted.
Please post reply if anyone knows of the background music (melancholy/mellow/sad melody) played throughout the…
This is what I found while drafting my review, finding the names of the songs mentioned below on Dramawiki: The opening theme music creates a mysterious and obsessive atmosphere. The end credit song : Painful Hug (痛苦擁抱) by Ozone can be found with subtitles here : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-A-z5VWLWsM The insert song: Extraordinary (不凡) by Chang Ruo Fan (張若凡) can be listened to here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Su_gTQL093o But I admit I have not yet read carefully the end credits where perhaps more bgm music is mentioned. I hope this answers your question?
There could well be an S2 even after this satisfying ending, both dramatic and filled with wry humor: how 1 per made Yiyong into 10 per 😁 Urging him to get back the missing mug in order that Yiyong get properly scolded as a reward?! lol On another level, I think I will be even more wary after this of over-sugary diabetes-inducing cupcakes, with poisonous colors.... There are both deep thoughts and goofy superficial ones here so this drama is very enjoyable for ghost(buster) story fans, daft friendship addicts, and more.
Watching the final episode on the iQiyi app 😁 am worried for Yiyong now that he encountered a true, real life serial killer !!! How is this going to end... Half an hour to go.
But the outro songs alternate since the beginning
"Also Very Worth it"也很值得 (Eps 2, 4....14)
"Ordinary Identity" 平凡身份 (Eps1, 3, ... 13)
Btw did you notice Peachey Blossom has posted another OST songs translations after the initial five? The discussion part https://kisskh.at/discussions/hou-lang/100551-gen-z-full-ost-with-eng-subs where they are listed needs to be updated to also list the latest one: "Like I Once Loved" (Yan An) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8-3OMG1-KoQ !
I was still wondering about the intro tune. So, this one is 大道如环 Dàdào rú huán (Road like a ring), by 解男 Jie Nan on this "complete OST" playlist https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgCvtouQJsE
