EP1 first impression: so...she's basically John Wick? She didn't even remotely hesitate, zero evidence of blood…
She was a pirate/assassin.

When Ban chased after Mo at 27:14, ep. 17, who was the lady in pink that rushed up from behind?
Do you mean that lady she called Mrs Xie(forgot what she called her but the sub wrote Mrs Xie). If yes I was wondering too but I saw the clip that was cut from the dram on Youku. She’s a neighbor, the wife of the man who brought food to the table when Mo’er brought Song Qiyu home.

The little SuSu is a very good actress, saw her in a few dramas now, she really has great potential.
She has grown a bit too. Such a cute girl.

Does anyone know who is the actress who plays the young Wen Yue? How come she’s not in the cast list? She’s good.

I like the whole family. They’re all kinda weird but talented and close to each other. Only the father is missing…
Oh wow you MUST not miss Winter Begonia in your lifetime 🤣

Just know that Zhou Yiwei and Zhang Songwen(Zhao Buyou) and Lin Jiachuan(Wan Fu) are all real life buddies from uni days and this drama is a great collaboration between them, an ode to their friendship. Zhang Songwen got this role after being hugely popular after The Knockout and I’m 100% sure Zhou Yiwei was brought into the production not just for a mere support role. He is very important in and off the drama.

I agree. I usually fast forward the opening and end credits, but not now. It's great! And the music is wonderful…
Same. I usually skip end credits but this one I just wanna watch and listen to the songs.

Yes he’s a great actor. I first know him from Winter Begonia and his role was already memorable in my mind and then along Season came. Omg he’s SO creepy that I was scared of him 😂

I like the whole family. They’re all kinda weird but talented and close to each other. Only the father is missing most of the time. I hope they show more of him.

I’ve been waiting for this drama ever since Zhang Songwen was filming this drama in Zhouzhuang & I am not disappointed at all. It’s everything I want it to be plus I love this genre. I’m also happy to see Hao Fushen again after Hikaru no Go.

From the opening of the first episode, it was apparent that the producers were working hard to present quality,…
So old actors cannot have their own dramas? The young ones are there alright. Just not the leads and that is fine. I love the ‘old’ actors.
