It has been long since established that in this fictional world what matters is not the body but the soul.
not at all...I just understand this as a different reality from ours...which it is...how about not using insults when trying to make a point. Makes you seem like a 12 year old.

no wonder gyj said it was hard cuz they have like 5 kisses in 9 episodes and maybe counting. Luckily they are…
I'm glad Kdramas and Cdramas are starting to add more realistic romance. The lack of affection in a lot of dramas grows tiresome. So long as they never get to the intensity you see in most crappy western shows.

I remember watching Love Between Fairy and Devil and being caught off guard by the make out scenes between Esther Yu and Dylan Wang. Since then I have seen a few other newer Cdramas that have been getting slightly more modern with their PDA. Kdramas have often had more PDA than Cdramas to a point. But you still get shows like Summer Strike (I just finished) where there isn't even a kiss scene at all despite being a romance drama.

Besides....not like Uk knows there are multiple souls in the body. That isn't how soul shifting is supposed to work. As for Naksu...why would she care how JBY feels?

Cho Yeong (Naksu) and the face was also hers. Just the body belonged to JSR/JBY.
while mentioning JSR in connection to JBY you should mark it as a spoiler. It was a plot twist in the latest episode. Thus you are spoiling some people.

The way LJW and GYJ literally eat each other’s faces 🤪🤧I’ve never seen so much tongue in a kdrama. You…
There was no tongue in the scene lol. Also...watch Eve.

So what? One soul forced the other to be there. Plus we just learned that JBY is likely actually JSR and the body doesn't belong to her either because she isn't supposed to exist. The soul in control of the body is Naksu. She can do what she wants. She thinks she is about to fade away. Why not have sex with the man you love? Not like she has the possibility of having her own body back. People need to leave their real world morals on sexuality behind in this fictional world where things don't work the same. This isn't the same situation as the King tricking Jang Uk's dad to switch bodies so he could r*** his Jang Uk's mother and have a kid. That was actually gross. Not this. Besides...who knows maybe JBY/JSR enjoyed it. She was engaged to Uk after all.

How did Gwido, a prison that not even souls can escape from, become a place that people can strut in and out as…
Clearly no one was paying attention when they said they weren't going to lock it. Her challenge of going in wasn't to escape. It was to find the plaque. They kept it unlocked so she could get out. If it was left open then everyone could go in and out.

"but the sudden change of FL doesn't impress me, JSM has better chemistry with the three males lead"

what was that??

Scroll up and you will see the first person who commented on my post was complaining about GYJ. So yes people are complaining about acting and chemistry.

And the story makes perfect sense. Sorry you haven't been able to follow. There are no plot holes. As for him recognizing her...in episode one she used movements from tansu and he recognized those movements which is how he knew she was Naksu. Plus he saw the blue light in her eyes. This same blue light was what made him realize she was Naksu again. He never saw that blue light before and the only things that made him think of Naksu in her before were memories that she herself believed were only happening because she was in contact with the egg. He believed her to be dead. So yes...it makes perfect sense it took him 9 episodes because all of the things that would lead him to realize didn't happen until the end of the 8th episode. Now if she randomly through muscle memory did a tansu movement without realizing it say in episode 4. Then perhaps you would be right in the plot not tracking with part 1.

Haters? i don't thinkeveryones watch this drama but we shared our opinions, so maybe you loves everything about…
GYJ has had far better chemistry in this show than JSM. And she isn't a sudden change. She was Naksu all along. GYJ was present as an actress playing the role of Naksu for the entirety of part 1. I see...you aren't a hater of the show... you are a hater of an actress because she has been getting better reviews than your fav JSM.

Are you an adult? Why would 2 people in love having sex be gross??
Yes it is. lol. JBY/JSR(apparently) purposefully forced Naksu to take over her body. She has been using her from the start. The body doesn't belong to her anymore and no one wants an ending where JBY is in control of the body and Naksu is gone as things are currently suggesting might happen. From the start everyone knew that Naksu was in the body of JBY/Mudeok. Yet, they wanted the love story between Jang Uk and Mudeok. Now Naksu still in the same body just with her original appearance finally is together with the ML. They are implied to have sex off screen and people are calling it gross?? What did people think was going to be the result of a romance between to characters?? Of course they are eventually going to want to have sex, get married and maybe have kids. Did no one think the romance through from the start? Having gross thoughts now but not at any other point in the show with exception to the King r*** of Jang Uk's mother? As far as I and anyone who has been watching the show from the start is concerned we want Cho-Yeong to stay and have control over life again. Only way that will happen is to stay in that body since her own body was burnt. Do we expect Cho-Yeong to never love then in order to avoid making a very small few feel grossed out??? Naksu's soul turned Buyeon's body into her own appearance. For all intents and purposes if they had sex off screen then it is Naksu in her entirety that Jang Uk had sex with. It would have been more "gross" if she still had the appearance of Buyeon. But even that is what fans wanted from the start.

She gave up her ownership of the body when she forced Naksu into it....
So??? who cares why she did it she still gave up ownership. And who cares who else is present? They are adults. They are in love. It isn't a disrespect to the "true owner" of the body. The true owner has been manipulating and using Naksu this whole time. If Naksu wants to be with the one she loves let her. Plus no one was saying this crap when it was Mudeok lol. Still the same body. Still the same soul.
I am truly confused by these comments. It is like a bunch of haters suddenly came in to troll. I had no fault with episode 9 nor any of the episodes. Acting and story are both great. GYJ continues to impress. The chemistry continues to be off the chart. The reveals weren't entirely predictable yet still made sense when they happened. The no context cliff hanger would actually be the only thing I would change. It could have been more emotional had they not removed the context and left us guessing and rather actually showed us the events that led up to it. They may still show us next episode but as a cliffhanger it could have left me in tears but didn't because they chose to not have the scene that actually created the emotions of the characters crying. It is difficult to feel others emotions without the context.

Context of a character description prior to a show airing vs context within the actual plot of the show? hmmm....
