Based on the description of episode 2 Naksu may be lying about her spiritual powers.

She is lying about priestess powers. She doesn't actually see the ice stone inside of Jang Uk. Just like she lied to Jung Uk about not having gone out in a long time when she was literally just out which is how she knew the flowers bloomed. Mama Jin has no idea who is in the body or even whose body it really is. Also, even if she really isn't lying about the priestess powers... we know nothing about Cho-Yeong's mom. How was Cho-Yeong able to become so powerful? She was said to be the most powerful mage. What about her genetics allowed her to get to that level?

It is Naksu in Naksu's body lol.

Go Yoon Jung was voicing Naksu the entirety of part 1. Whenever she had an inner monologue it was Go Yoon Jung and not Jung So Min that was speaking. Go Yoon Jung was always the voice of Naksu. But when she spoke out loud the voice was different because it was Bu-Yeon's body that was speaking. The contry side accent that Jung So Min used sometimes was fake in order to make her seem like a servent from the country side.

I dont think we will get that answer tomorrow lol. I say at least half way through the season before we find that out.

It isn't Bu-Yeon in the body. Still Naksu just with no memories.

The current portrayal by Go Yoon Jung is a version of her without her memories and thus hwer child hood innocence is intact. So she has a slightly different form of speech. However, remember that Go Yoon Jung voiced Naksu just as much as Jung So Min in part 1. Go Yoon Jung was the inner voice of Mudeok/Naksu throughout all of part 1.

The casting on this site is updated by users. It is not confirmed if her guest appearance will be as Mudeok of Buyeon even though technically they are the same person. Mudeok was the name that Buyeon went by when she lived out in the sticks. Mudeok was never either of the characters real name.

Go Yoon Jung isnt a newbie.

I never saw any posters or photoshoots. But I did watch the main trailers. The main trailer showed Naksu training and then another one talked about the 4 seasons. In the trailer of Naksu it only showed Go Yoon Jung. That trailer is what made the show actually look interesting. They took a very talented actress (Go Yoon Jung) and put her in a primarily VA role. That being said, as a VA myself, what she did in part 1 requires a lot of talent as well. She did the voice of Naksu in Mudeok's inner thoughts very well. Even managing to bring out humour purly through her voice at times. So I cant actually say as I have said a couple times that she was sidelined. But judging from a lot of comments a lot of people don't even realize Go Yoon Jung did voice over throughout the entirety of part 1.

The whole point of what I said is because of these annoying comments that it isn't the same because they changed the FL or that Go Yoon Jung isn't as good as Jung So Min. I'm not upset about season 1. I did like Jung So Min. She is very talented as well. But that doesn't mean that Go Yoon Jung doesn't also deserve the recognition for the work she has put in and continues to put in.

They fished up Bu-Yeon's body. That does not mean that 3 years later it is still Bu-Yeon's body. We don't know what happened in that time. What I can say is that if they were going to disguise the body to avoid recognition they would not have used Naksu's looks. They could use literally any other actress and it would still have allowed them to have a plot where Jung Uk doesn't recognize her. But they went with the OG actress Go Yoon Jung which has left everyone confused because the body was supposedly burned. Perhaps there is something going on that noone knows. Perhaps we don't yet know all the lore - perhaps something to do with the lake? And as for what she said about Bu-Yeon's soul and the body...she can say whatever she wants it doesnt mean she is right.

I never said Jung So Min didn't do a good job. And Jung So Min is not better than Go Yoon Jung even in the slightest. They are both great actresses. But all the trailers for the show at the beginning had set up Go Yoon Jung to be the FL. It was only after the show premiered that sites like this one changed Go Yoon Jung from Main to support. Everyone expected her to have a much larger role. So yes...she was robbed as she was pushed to be nothing more than an OG body and an inner voice.

Yes...100% Naksu is the one alive. If it was Bu-Yeon then the whole body switch makes no sense for plot. The only reason the current plot is working is because it is not Bu-Yeon's body but Naksu's. Otherwise Jang uk would have recognized her right away. It would also be a very boring season if Go Yoon Jung never gets to pick up the sword again as Naksu. If it wasn't meant to be Naksu then they could have used an another actress to achieve the same result rather than choose to confuse fans of the show with the og Naksu actress. Bu-yeon may be live as well but I doubt it. If she is alive as well I think the bodies fissioned and Jung So Min will return in like the last episode as Bu-Yeon.

Nothing I said contradicted myself. Also why can't Naksu have preistess powers? We know nothing about Cho-Yeong. Why was Naksu capable of being so powerful before Bu-Yeon? Who is Cho-Yeong's mother? It was said that Naksu was the most powerful mage. How was she capable of being so powerful? You are assuming that Bu-Yeon is the only explanation for the priestess powers when there are still so many unanswered questions about Cho-Yeong.

Except Park jin and Heo havent seen her yet...So how can they recognize without a chance to see her. Park Jin even says to Jang Uk in this first episode that Bu-Yeon is dead. No one outside of Jin family knows except Jang Uk and now Seo Yul because of his uncle that Bu-Yeon is "alive"

Because we no nothing about how powerful Cho-Yeong actually is by herself. Perhaps Cho-Yeong is also powerful enough to see the stone without Bu-Yeon. We know a bit about her dad but nothing about her mom.

I don't think she needs to pay for anything. It wasn't as simple as being brainwashed with what happened. She was basically an empty husk being controlled until she stabbed Jang Uk and it woke her up. The only person who needs to pay is the one who actually commited the crime: Jin Mu.

Once Jin Mu's plot is revealed people will devlop new opinions. While she will likely still punish herself I think her anger and hatred will be focused more outwardly at Jin Mu as well.

Same. I was disheartened when I learned in the first episode that there would be a body swap situation. I had only seen the trailer and it made me think Go Yoon Jung was FL.

She was hidden away. The people at Jin residence wouldn't know what Naksu looked like. Even if they did she isn't exactly dressing or behaving the same as she was. Plus both the mother and Cho-Yeon know that she has potential to be either Naksu or Buyeon. That is why she is locked up. Because they don't know for certain. Cho-Yeon is pretty certain it is Naksu but the mother is obviously lying to herself. No one outside of Jin until Jang Uk saw her. The only person that might recognize her is Jin Mu. Next episode from the preview makes it seem like Seo Yul will somewhat recognize her but I'm sure that is just a tease and he wont in the end.
