Watch Reply 1997, its a terrific drama starring her
You should definitely checkout the other too as well. Not doubt that Reply 1988 is the OG and the best among the three as it was released later after Reply 1997 and Reply 1994 and the director & writer duo benefited from the feedback of the first 2 dramas.
Watch Reply 1997, its a terrific drama starring her
I can understand, there are so many good dramas out there to watch especially if you are just starting to watch now.
The USP of Reply Series is their realistic display of relationship and the accurate portrayal of the the eras they are set in. It always hit you with nostalgia and educates a lot about Korea of the past which contrasts a lot with Korea of the present.
I watched 8 episodes so far, and poor sunjae suffered so much for so many years, he could have lived a wonderful…
Sunjae definitively suffered not because of her but because that is everyone's life nowadays. We are currently facing a mental health epidemic and especially in S Korea, we know about celebrities taking their lives which makes the drama very realistic. The serial killer element is to just add the drama and make the story more interesting IMO.
FL loved him but didn't want to complicate things further that's why she refrained herself from expressing or confessing her love for a long time. Regardless of the time travel, we all know that ML fell in love with her first so their encounter was inevitable because of fate.
Spring Snow OST by 10cm has been finally released! Its one of the most memorable OST for me in recent times as the moment it starts playing in the drama, it hit me really hard in the feels! Official links:-
The kiss in episode 8 is one of the hottest kissing scenes in recent Kdrama history. Both Byeon Woo Seok and Kim Hye Yoon went full out with the intensity of the scene. Their chemistry is going off the roof and I can't wait to see next.
For the longest time, my favourite actress has been Kim Go-eun. But now I've added Kim Hyeyoon to the list!
I also adore Kim Go-eun especially when Goblin was one of the earliest dramas I ever watched. Her innocent, cute face and great acting made the drama even better.
Just completed episode 7 and I have to say though the fandom is going gaga over Byeon Woo Seok performance as Ryu Seon Jae and rightly so my man looks perfect boyfriend material BUT in ep 7 Kim Hye Yoon as Im Sol in the jacket looked the most gorgeous she has ever looked in the drama so far. She was just stunning and I could not keep my eyes off her and forgot about the plot and everything. So far the drama has become better and better with passing episode and I hope the same for the rest as well.
I am not Tamil but watching from Bengaluru. Why are you asking though?
Yeah, I understand where he might be coming from. I was just surprised to read the word 'Tamil' as there are not much Indians who watch KDramas let alone Tamilians who would be even lesser in number. Also I believe just like Japanese Otakus , we Korean Drama watchers are a separate and different tribe altogether which is not limited by geographies we live, languages we speak and cultures we imbibe. Here no one is a foreigner rather everyone is a native to International KDrama Watcher community.
I want to confess that in recent times, I generally have watched KDramas for the complex plot and character relationships but this time I am watching My Demon only because of the sizzling chemistry between the leads, I don't care an F about the plot or the story.
I know Kim Yoo Jung is a fantastic actress and I have always loved her previous projects but this time around I just can't keep my eyes off her. She looks so hot and stunning in every scene that I can't even focus on what she is saying or doing. Both she and Song Kang as a couple have been a visual delight for us fans. Perfect casting IMAO.
All of these dramas are currently competing for Saturday in nearly overlapping time slots. All major television…
I am an Indian Kdrama watcher who sporadically watches airing dramas. After reading your comment, it was the first time I ever heard of the name "Korean-Khitan War" so yes it is true that the marketing of this drama has not reached international viewers and the MDL is also not highlighting it as well.
I can't comment on the taste of other international viewers but for me specifically, I don't watch Korean sageuks unless they have some rom-com aspect to it. Currently, these days to attract viewers like me EITHER Kdrama needs to be easily available for streaming, e.g. in India we have a lot of K-dramas being streamed on Amazon Prime, Disney Hotsar and of course Netflix OR the Kdrama needs to have a Hallyu Star with the likes of Song Kang or Cha Eun-woo.
Park Eun Bin!! All in! Thank goodness it’s 2 episodes a week! But 12 episodes? So not use to it!
I think if each ep is 1h 20 min or so then the actual runtime is like 16 eps of 1h each, which is the average length of a KDrama. I am hyped AF because Park Eun Bin slayed her last role and I am a huge fan of the writer's previous works.
