Where are the Pearl curtain and Jade curtain? That one clearly confirms that she will work on that project.

Watching all of the videos taken by fans and bts footage makes me wonder how they didn't have feelings for each other, and I find them real pros.
Some of those videos appear more romantic and cute than the actual scenes from the drama.

When I first saw bts footage from LLTG, I thought no one could match her chemistry with Wu Lei. They are only a year apart in age, and both appear sweet and cute.

But now, after watching HL and the bts, it seems like her chemistry with CZY is far better than her other MLs. CZY appears to accept her bubbly personality, and I sometimes think they share same brain cells.

I'm curious if her future dramas will be able to match this level of chemistry, but then again, this FL is ZLS. The queen of chemistry. 😊

HL, Defeated by Love, and First Frost.
First Frost is a HL spin-off about Wen Yifan and Sang Yan. The translation is still in progress, but it is nearly 80% complete. Our FL has a past trauma in this novel, but it is still light to read because both main characters are funny and cute.
DBL is a heavy and slow-burning romance because it deals with a very heavy past trauma. I cried a lot while reading this novel. No one has yet translated this novel, but I have read from MTL (Machine Translation) Novels.
I recommend that you read FF because it is more relaxing than DBL, though I prefer DBL over FF. ^^

Because I began reading this novel three years ago. 3 of his novels received high ratings from me, indicating that this young author is both talented and capable.

Haha.. I only watch Our Secret out of all the dramas you recommend here, and it's actually quite good.
I think I'll watch the other four first before telling my friends what I think.

She didn't like how we were seeing other people's watch lists, but for me, that's how we can tell who has similar tastes as us, doesn't like the drama, or is just a hater. Aside from that, MDL did not make it private, so it's not an odd thing to do.

And if any of you want to compare my watchlist to others, I am very open and welcoming.

Are there any C-dramas that I should recommend to my friends who enjoy watching Korean dramas?

They are actually quite picky, and they are prejudiced against C-dramas. This is their first time watching Chinese drama, and they love it. They have issues with obvious dubbing, poor acting, and episodes that are too long.

You Are My Glory and Lighter & Princess are all that come to mind.
Any suggestions that can be added?

I'm not sure. Everybody has a different preference. Personally, I like HL better than WIFTY.

If we compare the first episode of this drama, when most of the ratings came from haters, to the last episodes, where ratings are slowly coming from netizens as well, I'm more appreciative of HL's rating steadily rising.

If Korea has PannNate, then China has Douban. Both Chen Zhe Yuan and Zhao Lusi are rising stars. So it's not surprising that this drama received a lot of backlash even before it was released, but we all know how well it was received in China during and after its airing.

Again. People who gave it the lowest rating, 1 star, and explained why they hated it are always amusing to me.
They dislike HL for a specific reason, but after going through their watch lists, I'm curious why they rated the other dramas higher and even rated them 10 when the other dramas had the same features that they disliked in this drama.
Was it because they disliked the fact that this drama was acted by these actors, or because they couldn't accept that this drama had a higher MDL rating than their favourite drama, or because this C-drama gained popularity among domestic and international viewers? or trending on numerous platforms? idk.
HL already ended two weeks ago, and data has been collected. The cast gets a lot of love call from other producers for upcoming dramas. So, focus on the type of drama you enjoy and perhaps find some that are currently airing.

I prefer that HL did not remain at number one. The outpouring of rage was completely unreasonable. I wouldn't mind if Move To Heaven stayed first because I gave this drama a 10 as well.

I strongly disagree. She was never the obsessive girl towards the person on whom she had a crush.
She stopped communicating with him after suspecting the other woman was the crush's girlfriend.
She went to the top university not because she wanted to pursue him, but because it was the best university for the course she wanted to take.
She even accepted that they would have to have a long-distance relationship for the next three years.
He was the one who started pursuing.
I'm curious if you actually watch the show.

I believe what @Kiss127 said was true. Haters will do everything they can to make this drama fail, but they won't be able to change the fact that HL is already attracting a large number of domestic and international viewers.

They never blame or get angry at Jiaxu because they know DJX is a good man, especially to their daughter. They simply want both of them to think carefully about their future.

Not to worry. Sang Zhi is blessed with wonderful parents. Their concern is genuine, which benefits both their relationship and their future.

Haha.. It's fine. 8/10 means you'd still enjoy it. When it comes to rating, you are completely opposite of me. WIFTY gets an 8/10.
I like WIFTY as well, but perhaps because I've seen a lot of coming-of-age Chinese dramas, I prefer When We Were Young, Lovely Us, and Our Secret more.
Another reason is that HL and WIFTY are both in the youth genre but have slightly different target audiences.

Since the hatred has lessened, This reminds me that there is a comment on the other drama where the commenter expresses their hatred for HL because of that accusation.
When neither drama had even ended at that time, she gave HL a rating of 1, and the other a score of 10.
The funniest thing I noticed after seeing her watchlist was that she gave the Goblin a 10.
I burst out laughing because the hatred she described was completely contrary to Goblin's rating.
