Is there any possibility that Mu- deok is the original Jin oldest daughter who was weak and supposedly died and someone secretly transferred her soul in childhood into another little girl, that little girl is the girl who grew up to be Naksu and then she transferred back into her original weak body again which is why there is no blue mark?

I think in a fantasy setting like this you can’t apply the same mortal scientific parameters you normally would. In this fantasy realm a soul has a fate and the soul that impregnated Da-Whol was the kings soul with a kings fate. In this realm he has a Kings destiny which is a threat to the Crown Prince as shown by the Star that appeared at his birth. So forget the whole sperm thing. This is a show where Souls are what matters not sperm lol

To me Scarlett Heart is super overrated and almost bad although the main love line and leads were amazing and heartbreaking. But it was cheesy to me otherwise.

I agree that My Country is a different genres but if we are calling AOS a Sageuk then I compare it to other Sageuks. It’s really not though I agree. It’s a costume/ period fantasy. It’s closer to a genre I will not mention because then some nationalists will say it’s a copy of that genre and I don’t want that toxicity lol

Same. I don’t think she’s Gong Chans sister as some have speculated.

My guess is that the second half of the drama will be more of Gong Chan’s story as he & Soo Jae start to unravel all of the conspiracies and they find the real killer. But first we have to get through this part laying the foundation of the bad guys and buildup. I sincerely hope that the last 8 episodes will have much more Gong Chan character content otherwise it’s a disservice to what makes his character compelling. If they will not fully develop his part of the story as a main character than they really didn’t need him as a ML at all and could have simply made this a revenge drama without the noona romance aspect.

I am extremely here for the noona romance so I hope they develop it in a satisfying way where he is a full fledged character rather than this sort of accessory to her. In any case, romance aside this show is phenomenal so I’m watching no matter what.

I actually dislike the way they’ve made the link feel too ambiguous. I would have rather it been a clearer near telepathy where he can both feel AND see what’s happening rather than this vague sometimes emotional link that sometimes is there, sometimes isn’t. I think it weakens the plot they way it’s played out. It would have been interesting if the link got stronger clearer the more time they were together /the closer they got. Instead it’s just this hazy thing that we are supposed to accept

I also felt that this reminded me of The Crowned Clown. So much so I actually wished Jin Goo had played the ML in this because he would have killed it. That said, it is a masterpiece and I share all of your sentiments on the other points. I will definitely be rewatching as well’
