There is a difference between loving someone and being IN LOVE with them. She feels on platonic love for CX. She feels deep unexplored “what if” complicated love for XL. But she only for TSJ does she feel romantically IN LOVE. ON THE SHOW.
XY has a DEEP connection to XL/FFB but from her side it is not a romantic love. it is a deep feeling of complicated emotions. This is made explicitly clear in the cave scene when she clearly says “Yesterday a man forced me to kiss him. today I want to kiss you.” this is stating her mindset so CLEARLY yet people in here are writing whole novels as if she is split between TSJ & XL romantically. She was and never has been ON THE SHOW. She would choose XL as a life companion and maybe grow to feel romantically towards him but that is a different kind of love than what she wholeheartedly currently feels for Jing which is the romantic lusty kind of love.
You can ship XY & XL happily all you want, I personally am obsessed with XL and NOT a Jing Stan contrary to what some people assume and yes he’s sexy and domineering and complicated and vulnerable and the bad boy many of us lust for…… but even HE knows XY does not want to kiss him and sleep with him and he would only ever be her second choice cancellation prize.

the banquet was to set the stage for her targeting of Toushan Jings wife and brother. To start to seduce the brother and enrage the wife with jealousy….. she’s purposely trying to bait the brother so she can reveal their lies and manipulation.
that’s why in the scene where she privately questions Jings maid at the end to herself she says “Toushan Hau is in a competition with Jing to conquer all his women.” So she realizes this is his weak point that she can attack to unravel their plot against Jing.
ONE quip I have…….. I wish there was a scene where we get to see XL finding out that King of Haoling is willing to allow him to marry XY and see XL actually deliberate the idea. I don’t know why they left the scene of the King saying he likes FFB passion much more than Fenglong and offers for FFB(XL) to marry XY and then we get no payoff of any kind even just seeing XL/FFB reaction to the idea. Minor Quip but it was a letdown of what could have been an incredible scene to see him think it over and also be gratified that he was offered the chance to marry as FFB.
