Master Lee made it clear in episode one that if the powers & memories came back the bodies would clash. Which is why I was hoping she never got the memories back.
It’s interesting that Master Lee made a specific point today to correct how it works and that it’s not regaining her memories that activate her powers…
It’s the gaining powers that activate her memories. He never says anything that isn’t important so there is a reason he went out of his way to say this……

I prepared myself a long long time ago for a sad ending so that’s why I’ve been 10000% happy with this Part 2 “non badass Naksu/ sweet happy go lucky romance” and would be thrilled if literally they just fall in love like this without any memory being restored. Living happily ever after as just happy sweet Jin Bu Yeon would be my happy ending. I don’t need her to get back her OG body. I’ve always said a return to her OG self means nothing but pain and angst. So I don’t need it lol
I just spitballing on theories and how it could go and not making any judgements. Once they went this route I let go and am just riding along for Part 2 wherever it takes me 🤷🏻♀️
P.S. what if Naksu is actually going to be the Phoenix firebird reborn if she is expelled from Bu Yeons body and that’s why she always talked about being a bird on top of a tree.
She IS the Jinyowon Firebird !!!!!! A Phoenix who rises from the ashes! This is why the token Yul had to remdmber her was the bird whistle?
Again…… this is my brain running wild with a theory but if I think about it, this Jinyowon Relic egg is waiting to hatch, it is a Phoenix, Naksu’s whole storyline has been making her metaphorically a bird……… maybe I’m just just crazy lol

It’s not her body. It’s her soul & energy fused with Jin Bu Yeons physical body. Master Lee said as long as her memory and Bu Yeons powers were erased the two wouldn’t clash. But as her memories and BY powers come back………. That won’t be the case.

None of them know that Mu-deok was the real Jin Bu Yeonexcept So-Yi. That’s why. It’s not really about recognizing the real Naksu. It’s about So-Yi being the only one who knew/knows what the real adult Jin Bu Yeon looked like. So she knows the current Bu Yeon does **not** have the real Bu Yeons face.
If any of them knew that OG Mudeok = real Jin BY there would be no way to pass off Naksu’s face lol that’s why now that Seo Yul found out that Mu-deok was the real Jin BY he will figure out it’s Naksu now.

Yes and I have the same thought and hope. It’s better for him to figure it out before she does and better for her not to actually remember the horror of what she did.

If these are all shifters from the “before” times ie: Part 1 then it could make sense.
But NEW shifters is questionable since no new soul ejectors can be made without the ice stone. There weren’t that many made in the previous queen/shamans last batch. So these must be shifters that have been laying low for years and shifted via the old shaman cursed ejectors so they can be controlled.

From what I saw people were asking what would happen to Jin Bu Yeon and would JSM appear at all as Jin BY. People had no idea that they would make Naksu Jin Bu Yeon physically by magic.
So they were looking for JSM to appear as her character. IE: New Scenes.
It’s pretty obvious they would use scenes from part 1 in part 2. They hoped she filmed something for Part 2. Which she so far did not.

Why did I think all the soul ejectors with the shaman curse that allowed them to control shifters were gone? WHO and how was that soul shifter being controlled to know exactly who to kill? Jin Mu can still control them? With the bell? Some other magic ??? He still has soul ejectors with the curse???? I feel like this whole part of how people are still shifting has been glossed over or my memory is fuzzy on how Part 1 ended re: the soul ejectors the bad guys had for soul shifting
