High Fantasy is already a really hard genre to sell in Korea and TVN/Studio Dragon seem to be following the totally disastrous rollout of Arthdal Chronicles which they broke into 3 parts during the first season rather than airing as one and during which allowed outside publicity about the actors to become bigger than the show and affect viewership.

Apparently yesterdays info was wrong and TVN has officially stated that Jung So Min does not appear at all in Part 2. They say the information that she does circulated yesterday is not true.

Either way this is a PR mess now. Twitter has become a cesspool of each fanbase fighting with each other for no reason. Sigh.

Rarely do you have a rollout as butchered by leaks and conflicting articles as we’ve had with AOS Part 2.

Apparently TVN today is officially refuting that JSM will be in Season 2 at all and says yesterdays information is wrong. She will *not* be in S2 at all “as she is petrified” (which doesn’t even make sense as a reason)

They began filming at the beginning of July I believe and are aiming to finish early fall.

Listen you are aggressive for literally no reason to anyone who doesn’t blindly support every aspect of the show. I’ve rated the show a 10 and yet I can still discuss my PERSONAL OPINIONS freely thank you. I’ve never had a single conflict in all my time on MDL until you. It’s bizarre. You have continually come at me and I have tried not to respond in kind. Your comment above is obnoxious. You don’t own this comment section and people do not have to agree with YOUR opinions but you get aggressive when people express their issues with the show. To answer your rhetorical question *anyway* yes I clearly have stated I believe the use of GYJ strategically through season 1 WOULD make a difference. The way I would use her is not the way you are describing and I don’t want to write another wall of text explaining it.

It might be because 1. It’s A LOT of post production since it’s so heavily CGI 2. Submitting and passing Chinese censors for approval to air 3. Deciding on a time slot. Cdramas tend to take so much longer to get aired than other countries 😞

I hate time skips with a passion. As much as I hate amnesia I hate time skips too. So I hope not 😕

It’s not a silly thing to say. I think a lot of us feel this way. What happened in Ep 20 was traumatic. And if that wasn’t bad enough we are told to just get excited for this drastic change that they did not even ease us into. Hopefully there are things we don’t know that will make it all work but that remains to be seen.

A Perfect 10. It’s over and I’m still crying. These two characters and these two actors have completely melted by heart. I don’t even know what else to say. Everything from this story was just so beautiful. Thank you to everyone single person who took part in its creation and gave us this gift.

The saddest part about that is that Uk would have been engaged to Bu Yeon as the oldest Jin daughter. Our poor Bu Yeon gets thrown in the river left to die by her own father. Spends 10 years in Sari village then gets sold off to a brothel. Saves both Uk and Naksu multiple times. Is strangled to death by her own mother. Has her body become the vessel of a zombified deadly assassin who then suicides herself.

The cruelty!

This kind of nuance is lost on a lot of people who seemed determined to make viewers disappointment into some kind of commentary on the actresses personally or some kind of competition between the actresses which is ridiculous. You are watching the same show most of us are and your conflicted feelings are the normal rational reaction to what’s taken place. If other people are not conflicted and feel fully satisfied that’s great! But most people feel like you do and feel very conflicted and unsatisfied.

Now we can only watch and see how it unfolds because season 2 is already halfway through filming. Hopefully it all works out well!
