Since it’s the same writer as The Blue Whisper and she likes to repeat certain themes it might be that his father forced him into killing him. The dad in The Blue Whisper wanted the son to be strong and prepared to fight the real enemy to protect their people so he was cruel to him and tried to force him into killing him.
Wow so Cristy Guo plays a super similar character in this and The Blue Whisper! Poor her…. She is the self sacrificing master whose pupils fall in love with her and turn evil in their obsessions to bring her back to life. In both drama’s she even has to play a fake version of herself 😭
It is. The part where they're on the boat in the painting world is amazing. It does look just like an old painting.

There is a difference between sweet, feminine, girly voice etc and baby talk. It’s the baby talk voice everyone is commenting on. You can sound very girly without baby talking.
Yes, I found myself thinking that the CGI is pretty good, but the costume accessories appear to be mainly plastic…
The CGI is excellent. The costume director extremely overdid it. I get that they were trying t do something new but they look tacky and distracting rather than complementary
