The thing about Xianxia is you have to let go of all of those issues. It’s not meant to be watched with the same critical brain as other genres. It’s literally meant to be absurd, cliche, have similar plot and themes that are outrageous and maddening and angsty on volume 10. Once you stop trying to make it something else and just say “Ok let me just let go and get on this absurd ridiculous ride” only then can you enjoy it.
It’s a very specific genre that has explicit themes and worlds and those are always going to be there ie: HEAVENLY/Mortal/Demon realm…. Fordbidden/Star Crossed love/Outrageous Villains / Multiple lifetimes/Reincarnations…..

What happens in 14/15 is devastating. But honestly I am relieved that she is away from the 2 evils, the twin and the LAMP…. who are jealous of her and we’re never going to let her be happy.
At least now she can go live in the mortal realm which she has always dreamed of. She never wanted to be an immortal diety and said it over and over. Her dream was to travel among mortals.
The further away from her sister and the evil lamp the better!
