Yesssssss I love that despite the misunderstandings plot out ML is not actually manipulated, is incredibly smart & intelligent and never confuses which person he loves, he has only one goal, which is to protect Yandan at all times, and he never ever leads anyone else on. Cheng Yi’s micro expressions when he had to sentence her were absolutely incredible. He was able to convey so many emotions with so much subtlety…….
I’m ready to see these two cut up and bloody after falling off the cliff.
This curator b**** is going to get her commupance eventually and it will be delicious. Nothing will ever top Ye Hua stabbing the evil stolen eyes b*** on their wedding day in TMOPB but I’m hoping for something at least close to that to happen to our villains 😭😂

Danggu literally told him to do it himself!!!!! Then UK alpha dogged him. I think you missed some of the subtle but not so subtle character dynamics. He was babied because he was weak but he was also extremely lazy, spoiled and used to people doing everything for him.
Jinmi was a ditz at the start who had few skills and could not fall in love/understand love/was easily manipulated.
Yandan is pretty much a genius/savant with an incredible mind, who is both artistic and strategic. Just because she is bubbly & charming doesn’t mean she is Jinmi. She just shares Jinmi’s charming attributes.

If you recall the first few episodes they made it a point to show how spoiled Uk was. He wanted Danggu to poor his tea, crack his crab legs. He always had his maid-mom doing everything for him. He is known as a spoiled eccentric noble who needs to be babied & waited on hand and foot. So people just assume & accept that MD took on that role

For me, it’s actually only the fight scenes that really bother me. I just don’t like the way they CGI fight scenes. L & R was the worst to me.
Everything else I’m fine with.
