Well, Reba is certainly keeping her cards close to the chest. What is she doing I wonder? I watched the Olympics closing ceremony today. And now that it's over I hope to hear something about Reba's upcoming projects for this year; the wait is too frustrating.

I tried watching it but got a bit annoyed with the characters and dropped it, they are too young for my taste. Does it get better after the first couple of eps?

What a coincidence that we both watched the same drama. The ending was OK because we can assume what happens next despite the couple of loose ends. How did you manage to watch it in a day bcos the eps are sooo long? You're right about her easily passing off as a Turkish actress but I think I prefer her in Chinese dramas and she most likely does too LOL. She went to Greece or somewhere like that didn't she and made some V-logs? She didn't look out of place there.

Seems we have a long wait for TBW and anti-fans complain that all Reba's dramas get aired without delays. I'll have to find something else to occupy me now and just come back in a month or so to see where we are at.

Sorry to tell you that there isn't another drama like this one. Had the same problem and couldn't watch anything for many months but just re-watched TLB a few more times. Have watched it 7 times now.
If you liked the leads then look at their other dramas. Had a look at what you like and thought you could skip episodes in Eternal love of dream and go to episode 21 for the end of the Mortal arc. The drama improves from there and gets to the Dream of Aranya arc; the more interesting part.
I watched The Story of Yanxi Palace which finally broke the spell. The Joy of Life and Love and Redemption are good too. Princess Silver and Bloody Romance have FL's that can fight. Hope this helps!

Yes, I heard about season 2 as well and will look out for it.
About Dilraba, you took the words out of my mouth; I kept thinking these characters in the drama are related genetically to dilraba and she wouldn't look out of place in Turkish dramas. It's the similarity about the eyes which strikes you the most but she has that 'other' look to her which is distinctly Chinese too.
My left side is an uncomplicated script but with quite well written characters. They and their issues linger in the mind long after you watch an episode. I'm on the last episode and it ends in a dissatisfying way according to the comments. We shall see.

Just watched Ancient Detective and it was a lot of fun. Gone to the opposite end of Asia and watching a Turkish drama called My Left Side (Sol Yanim) I'm enjoying it so far.

She carried on being a male for a while and gradually transitioned into a female after being discovered by She'Er. ( EP: 23) There was no big embarrassing reveal or anything; her hairstyle became more feminine after and when she got saved by Situ Lang, it was clear she was a female. (EP: 25)

In Ep 4 A'Sun discovers her identity but doesn't let on that he knows. Nobody else knows for a while until she has her first period in the grasslands and Mu Jin finds out. ( can't remember the episode)

Haha, you're welcome and come on, she's mesmerising as a girl too! The Heiress is pretty good but I dropped it 2 episodes near the end for some reason and didn't finish it; I may do that in future though. Have a read of the synopsis on MDL for the story line.
