Still one of the best 2025 K-dramas, and Ji Chang Wook was incredible. But the story felt incomplete. Even though the ML got his freedom back and the dad and daughter survived, it just felt like a lot was left hanging. I dunno, the last two episodes weren’t it. Still in my top 3 for 2025, along with When Life Gives You Tangerines.
First time watching the second ML and he did the role justice cause I hate his character so bad. Hope to see him in more dramas.
I really enjoyed today’s episode and I had a good laugh but next weeks episodes is giving ‘ there maybe no light at the end of the tunnel’ and with two episode left and so much to unpack, I just hope this drama doesn’t end up like head over heels. And both leads are adorable, the chemistry is 👌
This is my first Taiwanese drama, and the storyline had me curious, so I started watching in bits and pieces and skipping lots of scenes and episodes but I somehow got hooked and confused, so I started the episodes in order. I'm kind of glad he killed all of them and his father, because no one should ever have such parents, and then the mom, even in death, still defending the man... A funking mess... Anyway, I can't wait to see part two and the story with the blind girl.
Ji Chang Wook needs to win every award!!!!!!!, he is such a damn good actor.
The last episode had me screaming and kicking my feet. I need the revenge to be BRUTAL so the director better get it right. I need the remaining episodes Asap!!
One thing I like about Japanese dramas is that they don't waste time dragging out the plot; it's straight to the point, and then the drama is over. I don't even know how I stumbled on this, but it was hilarious. The main leads were dry, and the kiss was mehhhhhhh, but the second leads...jezzz, they had all the chemistry you can think of. I like how it ended. 6/10
Storyline wasn’t good but this was fun especially if you don’t put your thinking caps on while watching. James was the highlight, his brief love story was ridiculous and the plot twist in the last episode, welllllllll…… I don’t see why it needs a second season but I’d watch.
So far, so good. At first, how they reacted to the FL's food made me 😒🙄, but with the recent episodes, it's cracking me up. This drama feels like MasterChef Korea. The braised beef she made looked so good.
Please NO, getting the ML to start looking at the FL in a romantic way in the last episode is just RIDICULOUS and feeding into what the fans want. Also, when did the second couple get together?? Must have missed it cause it wasn’t implied she agreed to date him.
I liked this way more than I thought I would. The ML (Yun Seok) has such a cute, innocent look, and his smile is everything. He blended in so well, even though he’s way older than the rest of the high schoolers.
Took me a while to start this drama cause I couldn’t get past episode one in law and the city so I was thinking this would be the same but I was surprised how much I like it. The cases are good the casts are doing a good job. However, I wish some cases were explored in depth and I personally don’t want the main leads to be romantically involved, the chemistry is more of a mentor and mentee type but if they do I really want to see how that would develop in 4 episodes left.
Oh, the second ML and Fl are adorable, I’m more interested in them.
I honestly wasn’t sure if I’d like this going in, did I skip some scenes, yes, but I still ended up liking it. The storyline and the acting were spot on. The actor who played the king, first off he is so handsome (him in those glasses in the last episode…lord have mercy). Anyways, it was great to see him take on such a different role. After watching him in Flower of Evil and Death’s Game, this performance showed a whole other side of him. I also really liked how it ended. Seeing how heartbroken Yun Gap’s mom was, bringing him back made sense for her sake but a backstory on how he survived without the pearl would have been good but overall, top 10 kdrama this year so far for me.
I think the FL did a good job, her facial expressions made sense with how sad her life was so what’s the issue in the comments…
Oh and the kiss scenes were giving boys over flower….rubbish

I love the full production that goes into their cons….lol.
The best way to enjoy this drama is by not over analyzing.
I'm looking forward to the next episodes.
