"Lee Beon has a cold-blooded personality and is gifted with an attractive appearance and outstanding martial arts skills. He has also experienced a heartbreaking past."
Hmm, this is fresh, I've never seen this kind of male lead character in hundreds of Korean dramas I have watched. 😂
I get it that it's a fictional story set in a fictional country. But even then it's hard to believe that premarital sex was not taboo, especially for the nobility and royals.
Excellent drama, short and sweet. Highly recommended, just like all other posters have already noted.
Yoon Gyung Ho portraying the character of Han Yu Rim was icing on the cake for me in this drama. He went from being a bad character to a loving father, his crying scene really brought tears to my eyes as I identified with him as a father and parent of two beautiful daughters, to a comedy role which also brought tears to my eyes from laughing.
His portrayal of the character was exceptionally well done, kudos to him, what an excellent actor. Korea, like many other countries, sure have a strong pool of actors.
This was actually a very good drama, not a 10 but a very good one. I can understand the low ratings, perhaps because there is no romance or idols. I think it's a good break from the typical romantic/comedy ones.
I highly recommend it if you want something different. And, really do hope they will have a season 2. It's a very light watch yet very enjoyable.
It felt like a movie, a very very good movie. For me it was a 10.
Everything about it was fantastic, Oscar worthy movie. Excellent script, acting (all actors, including small parts), and production. Tons of twists and turns, yet done extremely well and very believable just like in real life.
It reminded me of Harrison Ford's "Presumed Innocent" movie.
Watch it on DramaCool, the English translation has several obvious mistakes. Instead of You,, it translated as…
I find the mistranslations very typical and sometimes 100% wrong as you mentioned. It's as if the person translated decided the script was no good and wanted their own script. Even professional translators do that, Trunk by Netflix is really egregious in that regard as an example.
An excellent actor who can play any role, comedy, serious, good, bad, and evil. He excels in all of them by matching his facial expressions to the the role.
Good subs, 1080

Sites like DramaCool do not do the subbing. Subbing mainly comes from Viki, Netflix, and few independent subbers.
When I watched it, I made a comment that if the drama was an American movie, she would at the minimum be nominated for an Oscar.
