Title Rebirth
She was 17 when filming
I think she meant 2024.

Thank you, of course you are right.

DramaWiki shows "Filming period: 2024-Dec-06 to 2025-Apr-20"

That is definitely easier to believe than February 2026. Maybe the 2026 is for another Rebirth, there are so many Rebirth movies and dramas.

she was way under 18, it was definitely NOT filming in February as far as I remember it started in 2025 or even…
Thanks. Info hard to find, but DramaWiki shows "Filming period: 2024-Dec-06 to 2025-Apr-20"

You guys were right. Another good reason not to rely on Search Engine's Artificial Intelligence. 😊

I Googled it and it said the filming started early February 2026. Do you have a good source? I have to admit I don't trust the AI in search engines much.

I will try to see if I can find a solid source too. What you are saying sounds a lot more plausible than the search engine AI 😊

I just saw she was the young Chu Qiao in Princess Agents. How cool is that?

Really hoping this drama will do well. I will wait for a few more episodes and reviews before I start watching it. Can't believe people are rating it already after just a few episodes.

I had read that it can take anywhere from 3 to 5 years for a Chinese drama to come to screen. But, this drama started filming in early February 2026. That is super fast for any country. Wow!

The reason I looked it up was because she's 18 and I was wondering how old she was when they filmed this drama. I was wondering if she was under 18 and if China has some rules for under 18 actors kissing scenes with over 18 actors. Well, not an issue in this one now 😁

The assets are probably too hard to liquidate and get the required money within 10 months. It's not that easy…
Yes, you make very good valid points. I am just saying that even in Japan there are money managers who handle these issues and even if the net is a million dollars, it is still a lot of money. I just think there's more to the story than the inheritance tax issue.

You make very valid points. However, $7.9 million is a lot of money. There are definitely ways to pay the taxes through financing. There are experts available for that. I still believe there's a lot to the matter than meets the eye.

A superb drama. Very high quality production, excellent acting by all, great story, fantastic directing.

Really enjoyed it, Had planned to watch couple of episodes at a time, but ended up binge watching it. Not a moment of boredom for me with this fantastic drama. I really liked this rendition of Shogun, better than the other ones. It truly was different, so it did not feel like a remake rather than a new story all together.

Sanada Hiroyuki acting was superb, no wonder he got top billing.
Anna Sawai acting was top notch, worthy of her award. Amazing that the Japanese actors did extremely well with a non-Japanese director. What an awesome cast all around, including the non-Japanese.

This is really an American production shot mainly in Canada. Beautiful scenery of British Columbia which I am somewhat familiar with.

This is not a Japanese production, it's an American production. Please check IMDB and Wikipedia.

1st episode felt like a movie. Excellent production, acting, directing.

And, he hasn't made any money yet. Where is the money coming from? Mommy? Not a bad show though. I like the fact…
You do make a great point, but they did not mention anything about it. Also, I wished they had mentioned that her mom and her grandmother would be receiving the royalties.

We actually have not seen the ML properly practice law very much🤣😭Is he even good at his job? He is more…

Not a bad show though. I like the fact that cases are resolved within couple of episodes.

It was so evident that all the rabid fans wanted was ZLH's pretty face. Rarely did I see his acting abilities…
Thank you for your beautifully written comment.

What you described about viewers comments was the main reason I decided not to watch the drama. Vast majority of the comments were about how beautiful the ML actor is.

I am an old heterosexual man who likes eye candy as much as anyone. But, if the story, acting, and directing is not there then I don't have an interest watching it no matter how beautiful the actress(es) is(are.)
