Whatever the reason, obvious or hidden, someone who gives up their life must have suffered.
When we reach the point of leaving our partner, our children, our family, we are in extreme suffering.
I didn't know his life, I don't know if what he was accused of was true or not.
Because I don't have the elements that would allow me to answer this question either.
The media and fans everywhere force men and women to make ultimate decisions and it seems that this is quite common in Korea.
But in the end, the only thing that matters is that his smile and his love will never be there again for his loved ones.
And that's the only thing that matters.

This happens because of those awful laws that signal, exhibit and display "supposedly" drug consumers, when the police investigations haven't even concluded and they haven't being indicted.
Their "culpability" has to be demonstrated without flaw before they are exhibited!!
In my country, faces of suspects are blurred and their names are shown without last name, this until they are found guilty.
He must have been suffering a lot for being considered guilty even though it was shown that his several drug tests were negative and a suspicious man had been arrested.
Poor Sun Kyun, one of the best actors in Korea, you didn't deserve this.
Rest in peace...

I love his deep natural voice and his acting, especially in comedy. ❤

I like his characters in Prison Playbook, The Fiery Priest and Poong, The Joseon Psychiatrist. I like him even in his cameo roles. 😅

I was reading on this matter that affects people over the world and South Korea is the 4th Country in the world to die of cases similar and other scenarios unfortunately, how much we love their Drama Series content, Kpop, Skincare and rich culture but their own K-netizens will send their celebs & pop idols to their graves for rumored news without full investigation sadly.
We as fans don't know them personally and I am never someone who is brain washed in stories
like he went through. Heart breaking :(

Just finished the first episode, and it is cute... But the age gap is too much for me.

It's just "grooming" to me. The girl is obviously not doing anything wrong, but he is obviously a child with no parental figure in his life, his gorgeous and young aunt-in-law appears and gives him the love he craves.
He is OBVIOUSLY going to fall in love with her. He is 16, he's old enough to see her as a woman, without having the proper emotional background to healthy deal with her.

The problem is the aunt falling for him too. He is currently 16. Even if she does not fall for him before his 18th birthday (which is still way too young), it's still "grooming", even if she did not intend it.

(I know it's not exactly grooming following the correct definition, but I don't know another word for it).

It's a shame. Would have liked the story if the guy was at least 20 when they met.

Title Revenant Spoiler
The whole losing her eyesight thing is so unnecessary. Just make it temporary. Why do these writers trauma dump at the end? Ruined a perfectly good show by having her losing her sight at the end as the final scene of the show but hey she said she is going to be positive. Oh good job guys. If I needed a sad ending, I would just watch the news or better yet look in the mirror LOL.

for everyone who is confused the meaning of the movie is to show the struggles women have to face in society. by showing mitsuko who is a highschool girl in love with another girl. there's a part in the movie when the girls are playing with a pillow I think the pillow was symbolism for her homosexuality and how gay women are put to be seen as out of place in society.
and keiko's story is more to show a woman being forced to marry a man she doesn't like and i think he has a pig head simply because of the way she sees him.
lastly izumi running from the pig is probably a way of saying there's a man in her life blocking her way of success .
the end of the story is just to show men superiority in society and the way they see women
