Her acting is good, and she is really adorable. I am surprised she didn't have more main roles after her debut until now.

Everything was good, but the deaths of the princess and the poor maid were completely unnecessary. It felt like yet another attempt to force some drama into the story. Weren’t all the deaths in the past enough already? Even Minister Zhou’s son survived after being stabbed so many times, yet somehow that blow just had to hit her heart. That’s why I’m taking points off my rating. The thing I hate most is when the main characters survive while secondary characters die in ridiculous and unnecessary ways.

I truly don't understand the industry. Why is she not a superstar FL??

She's one of the most versatile actor in cdrama industry!! One moment she is innocent , the second she sweeps all the villains down , or another second, she herself might be the villain.

i feel like pairing off all the doctors is (and except chiyeon) is lazy writing,. also it does bother me that its all male doctors vs all female nurses, i feel like joocheonxjeongseon pair should have been gender swapped to keep things more interesting

ofc if we are talking about a critic ratings
8.5 is way too much
but what we get on here is this, people don't often pick up movies rated below 8, it isn't a bad movie, and you'll won't regret watching it
but a lot of people might miss the chance just solely because of the rating
not someone like me tho, I love to be the judge of things myself

I agree with you. 8.5 is little too high and this is not a masterpiece(in absolute sense). But that being said, the current rating might be considered fair or a little low based on the mdl culture and environment. Here on mdl the ratings tends to be a little different because it gets contrasted with other dramas/movies that is mostly asian in nature. As most of the viewers here are not native language speaker (i think), it is unrealistic to hope that they/we rate it like Hollywood movies are rated on sites like imdb or rotten tomatoes.
I see it as the ratings here being over-inflated and I then adjust the ratings mentally by comparing it with other movies and dramas in this site.
If all the international movies were also included and rated here in this site, then the ratings of this movie would have to be a lot lower.
