I stopped watching around episode 11 and it seems like it was the right thing to do after reading some recents comment. MZY and LXY are wasted in this nothing but a filler drama. let me quickly drop it!

Yi Beon's father and king are brothers... Beon's mother forced her husband to make a move to the throne, he seems passive and didnt have a passion for it. Beon's mother got killed for treason. Current king forgave his brother exhange for Beon. Somehow He captured to Beon so that his brother did not betray him...

So they've done it raw twice and obviously the fl didnt bring birth controls so when are they going to show us one out of the 10 children he wants to have 🤨🤨😒

Idk 🤷‍♀️ why you are annoyed but she is deliberately mocking historical clingy mistresses. Its a parody! I LOVE THE CUTELY ANNOYING ACT. Its a part of asian culture and its often used to tease people as well.

Some of you all want instant gratification instead of letting a story play out. This is a comedy / parody. This has some Princess Bride vibes at times, also mixed with Mel Brooks.

After angst, tension and heartbreak, I really appreciate how this drama doesn't take itself seriously but still has an edge. 666!

I m enjoying this drama more than TPOB tbh. Though there r so many loopholes in this but it's not very predictable at this point unlike I knew what's going to happen in TPOB that makes me bored to watch such drama. So it's nice uptil episode 10. Btw I didn't understand why the script was as such that the male lead himself looked so bad n villainous. There was no quality of male lead in him in that original script lol. N a rookie actress n second male lead has been given good ckts and to think a top actor still agreed to be part of such script where his ckt was totally like villain. Lol totally impossible in real cent world 😹 that's the very first big plothole in the show. Still the drama is enjoyable for being unpredictable and funny. So I will watch this one more.

That’s satire. They are make fun of this point exactly. In dramas people can never recognize other people in the flimsiest mask the same way that people can never recognize a women pretending to be a man .

She is transmigrated to script that supposed to have a ruthless guy and a husband who cheats on her with her own sister , tries to kill her many times, of course she will have the sense of survival mode and it automatically will make her cautious and doubtful to Nanheng. Natural response.dont hate her in the first half please .
Wait until full revelation and i believe, she will believe Nanheng truthfully without a shadow of doubt, and she will probably help him to bring down the real enemies(still dk who tf they are).

Remember this is a parody of every costume drama ever written. hahahah Don't take it too seriously. So what are the tropes in almost every costume drama written? Silly FL, over dominant ML. SL trying to win FL. << love triangle. I'm sure they will get to the angsty stuff too that are poorly written in other dramas. Please take it with a grain of salt and keep looking for the satyr and parody. Peace♥
