It's subtle, and one sided, but there are clearly romantic feelings there.

Immediately after finishing the movie I took a look around the web at various comments and reviews and pretty much no one mentioned Taki's feelings for Tokito or found non-romantic excuses for it. There were either some mental gymnastics at play or somehow Taki's feelings were too subtle for most people to pick up on. Nhii's comment below mine says a lot more about a particular scene that's pretty blatant.

Wait how does he afford a suit if he’s getting paid at low rate? Lmfao really unrealistic. Where is his other income??

They should change the title with "Lawyer for broke people", or how a dude manages to give low fees to his clients and still able to pay his bills.
