I can tell the army scenes were not filmed to it's potential. Quality battle scenes are so expensive to film. Even in the ones we had recently were choppy compared to the first ones. Check the backgrounds, you will all the "mistakes".

It's mostly due to the knowledge that the fandom have about the algorythms of the ratings and such. They know how it works, so they will use it to the advantage for their stans. That's one of the things that makes them (sadly) so powerful. And that is everywhere Tencent, Iqiyi, Baidu, Mango, etc... Even I remember once the government of China had to set some rules in a national level on weibo # ratings. But they didn't with the rest of the plateforms, because it makes so much money.

That's what happens everytime with a crowder fandom of an actor in Asia. Same in the music industry.
The dark siders of the fandom, they get entitle to so much. They think they own the actor. They will start an uproar:
- when their actor is not the first in the casting list (Will literally fight with the other fandoms)
- when the actress, scriptwriter and director past works is lesser than the actor (They created a mass uproar when the director Zeng Qing Jie were giving this project)
- when the actress has more/better scenes than the actor
- when the actress does anything that undermine the actor
- when the actress gets as/more popular than the actor
- when the makeup, hair, costume artist doesn't flatter the actor
- When the actor acts for a darker character (ZLH did the story of kunning, they caused a huge thing because the character scared them. Due to that, for this series they had to change Yan Meng personality from the novel to a softer one in the drama.)
- etc...
I can list things for days. They all happened to ZLH and keep happening.
They will harass everyone around him. Even ZLH is sick of it. He even commented once about it and they didn't get the message. But thankfully he didn't listen to them for this project. With ZLH academic personality, he doesn't care about those things. He just wants to upskill his talents and participate in interesting projects with creative people around him. Doesn't matter to him who has more or better.

Please just ignore them. More you give them attention, the more you give them a purpose to validate and fulfill their unvalid entitlement.

These 2 episodes were bit choppy. Qian escaping so easily and find Changyu. Then all these foresighting scenes were really in your face. "I will tell you everything when I get back" repetely and the other ones... Stopping mid battle to cry all together for a while... Like come on... Kept telling myself: it's a drama, it's dramatization. Over and over.

Seeing Qian escape so easily and finding Changyu felt extremely rushed.

That's what I read in the beginning of the series. That the yan zheng scenes was done by ZLH and the fight/capital was by a voice actor who has the same voice as him. People ask for the director to give an official conclusive answer to this, but he did not, he just kept turning the question by praising ZLH about other things. It is still "taboo" to kind of praise actors using their real voices and under mining the voice actors, because the industry uses the latters so much, they want to keep it a normal thing.

Welcome to the drama world. I shut off my brain after a while tbh. But for your last part, it is easier to escape when your enemy thinks he has a hold of you and with time he starts to trust you. And then you learn all the mistakes he does and use it to flee. She is using the same technique right now to do exactly that and to protect Baor.
