I've definitely seen way worse than this, and while it doesn't really affect my mood 😂 but that doesn't mean it's any easier to watch, because I'm just a normal person, not some kind of psychopath 🫩 who lacks sympathy or emotions

Just finished episode 10, and I have to say, it's really hard to watch. Not for any other reason, but because of the trauma I went through with "Goodbye My Princess." I just don't get why people write these sadistic, masochistic stories😮‍💨

From what I see, there is no revenge happening here, and she just enjoys that feeling how others dance to her tune like puppets

This has a sort of Japanese dark anime vibe to it... I've seen very few stories like this especially when it comes to the dramas, and they usually end up being either super tense or way too bloody to handle, but this one manages to find a good middle ground. Stories like this always leave me wondering if there are really people who can turn vulnerable individuals into psychos

I said "if it is inspired then they need to give the proper credit" but you just chopped off the first part and mentioned "the proper credit" you absolute moron which again changes the meaning completely... If someone says "inspired" it goes with "inspired by that specific thing" which means giving the proper credit... No drama there, just basic literature. It doesn't matter whether he steals it or what he plans to do with it. You can't just go and take someone else's property by claiming or proving that they got it through bad or illegal means.

I think he really crossed a line when he gave his heart's blood or whatever it is to Ming Yi, all because she didn’t want to explain things to Ji Bo Zai or just took it from him. Right after that, it clearly shows there is another voice going in his head. It’s like a demon in the heart or something from xianxia dramas. So, Ming Yi is the reason this all happened... At that moment, he was desperate and did everything he could to keep her alive, even though he didn’t know the full story.

But how he got it doesn’t really matter... At the end of the day, he owns it now... You can’t just say it’s a good thing he did because he took it from a thief... Wrong is wrong... If she could take it from him, then she could have taken it from Ji Bo Zai too.

Bro, that's what double standards are all about... How he got it doesn't really matter... It's his property and she took it... Just like stealing is stealing... It's a simple question: why does he have a different voice inside him? What caused this change? He was way too obsessed with her, and when he realized her life was hanging by a thread, he did whatever it took, even knowing he might end up on a demon path. And yet, you say he never forced to anything... Ming Yi is the one who clearly pushed him into that situation unintentionally, fully aware of his crazy obsession. If she had just talked things over with Ji Bo Zai and got it or snatched it from him, this whole drama would have had a completely different ending, and Situ Ling wouldn't have to kill more brothers or any other innocent people. And you still think this situation wasn't forced... If you still believe that, I really have nothing more to say

I just noticed that Ming Yi has some double standards and a bit of hypocrisy. When Ji Bo Zai wants to destroy it she lets it go, claiming it’s his and he can do whatever he wants. But when Situ Ling wants to do the same, she do him dirty and doesn’t hesitate to snatch it away from him. Situ Ling is such a pitiful soul because the plot keeps forcing him to be the villain over and over again.

It's taking place after the events of Dashing Youth and before the events of Blood of Youth, if I'm not mistaken. In Blood of Youth, Lang Ya Wang is already dead, and the plot revolves around his death

So, the timeline for this drama is actually in between Dashing Youth and The Blood of Youth... I'm feeling like I should rewatch Dashing Youth because some names they mention trigger a faint memory for me, but I can't recall everything, which is kinda annoying... If you haven't watched them out yet, it's all good, you won't feel that way 😂

Every drama has its own unique story and doesn't interfere with the others. They do have some connections, but it's not a huge issue

It's no wonder this feels so familiar... so this is taking place in the same universe as the other two dramas
