Honestly, I can't really give a fair review. I'm pretty annoyed that they cast Shin Ye Eun as the FL and then barely gave her 20 minutes of screen time. What’s up with that? Are they just trying to lure us in with her appearance? The plot feels all over the place. It’s more like a lengthy preview stretched over 9 episodes, filled with a bunch of unnecessary details that build the foundation for a different story
Honestly, I was really hoping for an epic ending, especially since the early parts of the drama were so well done. But hey, what can you do... At least I'm glad that it's the first C-drama to shows the reality of the army and the general who rose to power from being cannon fodder... As for the sister, I can't help but feel sorry for her because I have a silly sister who's spoiled by me too
Why does this suddenly feel a bit draggy? 6 episodes seem like too long to heal him and get him back on track. Instead, they need to allocate more screen time focusing on the revenge and war arcs.
It seems like the brother and sister are set to take over both countries by the end of the story... honestly, half the characters are brain rotten.. man, if I were Xia Jing Yan, the first thing I'd do is send XJS to Susha, and I bet that even before FSG gets back on their feet, that place sweaped clean without much effort. Some might argue that XJS could turn against XJY, but I'd gladly take my chances on once in a lifetime opportunity, and I bet XJS would take Susha before even thinking about going up against XJY. Meanwhile, Murong's father and son have no clue what it takes to run a country. Seriously, what makes you think that after taking out the god of war and all his generals with the king, you can just walk in and take the country? Every neighbouring country will begin to invade Susha, and their main army is completely ineffective now.
You missed the reason for that. It was explained in the previous episode why he didn't kill prime minister he…
That's a pretty stupid thing that included in this plot... Do you really think a king would keep his most despised enemy alive just to toughen up his son? It's just bad business. No king would act that way, and it's not like he doesn't have other methods to train his son the way he wants.
The king is muddle-headed and soft, not the ruthless and decisive ruler the story keeps trying to show him as. He had 2 chances with legit reasons to put the prime minister on treason and end the whole family line, but he chose not to, which keeps creating problem after problem. He is definitely not a power-driven king as his late wife accused him of being, or perhaps her death made him lose his edge or something.
I was really hoping this would be awesome since I liked "Uncontrollably Fond," even if it has one of the worst endings ever. It's a somewhat decent drama, but the issue is that the story is just all over the place.
I think it's his brother who's just pretending to be a doofus... I can't see anyone else who would benefit from having him killed or ruining his reputation in his kingdom
It seems like his sister is going to turn into a big villain by the end of the story... She is way too spoiled for her own good. I really have to hand it to the guy who directed the action scenes... Dang it... Man... It's just so crazy good!
ML needs a buddy who can say, "Stop being so arrogant and let go of your ego, man... She's your wife. Why do you have to be so proud in front of her? If you really want her, just open your heart and be honest about everything..."
So far, so good, but the thing is, I had bad experiences with Li Qin's dramas. They always seem to end in disappointment, even though they were so good until the last five episodes or something
Ma dude is really underestimating her. This couple is definitely scary, but that woman is on a different level entirely. The way she keeps her emotions in check without letting them go wild is... anyone who does that is genuinely scary. For me, the most satisfying episode was episode 8 because I really hate it when people take cheap shots at others' weaknesses since they can't hold their own in a fair game. It was so satisfying to see that dumb B**** get completely completely wrecked.
This is a nice one, but the thing is, they could have used a few more episodes to elaborate on the story instead of that fast-paced ending... Maybe they were low on the budget, but it's still a good one... Definitely worth your time
All is well but why is ml psychopath? Lol.He is just going thro a lot. You are watching the series you know the…
The way that character was written is just so emotionally messed up. Taking lives isn't easy, even real soldiers struggle a lot after the first time they do it. Some even end up leaving the service because of PTSD. So, someone who keeps on killing and killing can't possibly have a sensitive heart that would make them cry over little things like your brother not wanting to hear you out. It just seems impossible unless some mental instability, as far as I can see.
Whose bright idea was it to call this The Journey of Legend? Because honestly, it feels more like a path to becoming a psychopath. Just look at this ML, he starts off taking people out left and right, and then suddenly turns into a sobbing mess, calling for Mama, Papa, Big Brother, and Big Sister... definitely a psychopath. I can't wrap my head around why they made him cry and plead against his brothers. I mean, we brothers usually settle things with our fists, not tears. Big Brother is such a clueless idiot, always pointing fingers and dodging responsibility. A perfect example is when he beat up the younger brother over their parents' deaths. Seriously, this idiot could have listened to his brother a bit and rushed to their parents instead. They might have been able to help, but instead, they just blamed the younger brother, who was nearly killed because of his idiocy. It's honestly disgusting. I bet even the parents realise he’s not the right choice, which is why they hesitate when ML asks to be the next heir. Regarding the drama... There's a certain kick to it that keeps you going without losing interest, which is pretty impressive.
Common guys, an 8.4 for this is way too low. This deserves at least a 9.0 or above... The storyline is great and flows really well... The acting is top-notch.... You've got action, romance, plot twists, and yadda yadda, making it pretty balanced overall. The only downside? They just killed off Qiao Rr😕 They really did that character so dirty... Or maybe I just really liked that character😭😅
It is an aspect to the character development in coming eps..
Lmfao... Are you really saying he just let her go to develop her character or something? Does what you're saying even make sense? Your comment is totally irrelevant and something that viewers would hope for. And dude, why are you so mad? You're the one commenting on this, and I didn't get what you meant, so I just asked for clarification... Is it really something to get so worked up about?
idk how to respond to your comment, and again, what you are talking about... I was just saying my thoughts about the scene, that's all
