Title The Gifted Spoiler
I always thought or imagined that someone has a time manipulation in the cast or maybe in the future. Damn! Didn't…
I bet it is not time manipulation power. I guess it is just hipnosis, that is how he can erase their memories.

Wow, very good episode. I thought the person erasing memories was Khun Ladda. So Pom is quite evil. I thought he was manipulated by the director, but he does what he wants. He erased Chanon's memories in the past and signed his resignation with his own pen. I loved the final scene!

Title The Gifted
As per the latest episode, Ohm's new/develop gift is invisibility, which is really his potential because he can't…
Was it invisibility or teleportation? Maybe both? How could they open the door without Wave seeing them?
I remember that Ohm made a bottle lid desapear. If it was only invisible, I think he would still be able to touch it, but it didn't seem to be the case. We need more Ohm's scenes to understand it clearly.

If you like real good Dramas, Thailand has produced very good things ultimately. Unfortunately, people don't know…
My pleasure. If you have problems to find any of them, please ask me.

Probably the first thai drama I can handle and actually enjoy that isn't cringey
If you like real good Dramas, Thailand has produced very good things ultimately. Unfortunately, people don't know the real good Thai Dramas.

I suggest to you: I HATE YOU I LOVE YOU; Project S: Side by Side; Project S: Spike; Project S: SOS; The Gifted; In family we trust.

"Project S Series" and "The Gifted" you can find on YouTube. "I hate you I love you" you will find on Facebook (a Fansub has subbed the show).

"In family we trust" doesn't have subs yet, but you can follow the news about it on internet.

Title The Gifted
MY THEORY:Ms.Ladda knew about the program. She's been in the school ever since. So its kindda wierd if she doesn't…
Ohm's friend and Mac: both had their minds erased. At first I thought Ohm's friend memory problem was a side effect related to Ohm's potential, but after episodes 7 and 8, I noticed that Koi and Nac had their memories erased. Miss Ladda said to Koi that she would not remember anything else after that night. So, for me it is possible that someone can erase memories. Maybe it is not the director, but it seems people forget their memories too frequently in that school. Maube Khun Ladda knows everything about the Program, since she was the one who said Koi she would not remember anything after that night. Maybe Ladda is a gifted person herself.

The director said to Pang on episode 8 that his system is perfect because he got "an ace up his sleeve". Maybe he is talking about this mind thing.

I agree I was very excited for them and Pang and i'm sad their story hasn't really gone anywhere near exploring…
Someone can erase memories, since at least three characters have their memories erased so far. If it is not the director, it is someone else.

It is a good theory, but it seems that the Director can erase memories and he probably erased Pom's memory. Remember that Pom does not remember the real reason that made that student (from ep. 3) resign.
I am not sure, just guessing.

Since episode 3 I was sure about Pang's powers. I noticed that the mother changed her opinion suddenly after he touched her and asked for Namtarn to stay.
Actually, maybe Pang was responsible for Nack being absent, since he asked his friend in the first episode (while he was touching his neck) to keep distance from him from that day.

I don't understand you guys. This is a different, more unique story, and you wanted, and would prefer if it had…
Again, I did not say all light skin Thais are Chinese. I only said that Thai Chinese dominate the showbizz and many, maybe most, Thai actors and actresses have some Chinese blood. Second, I stated that Frank has a "Chinese Looking". I did not say he was an ethnic Thai Chinese. The prove that he has a Chinese Looking is that he was casted to play a Thai Chinese boy. His character is, indeed, Chinese.

I did not say either that half-white Thais deserve the attention they have on TV. I only said that your comment is contradictory, because you bother seeing half-whites on TV (like Drake) but you don't seem to care about Chinese looking people being casted for the same reason (their looks). You said LBC cast is good. I have to disagree. They are so weak as My Tee cast. At the end, you don't care about acting at all. You care about Drake being a half-white. I just pointing out that if Drake does not deserve be on TV, Frank doesn't deserve it too. He is a bad actor as well. He got that position just because he has a "Chinese face". (And he does not need to be an ethnic Chinese for this).

It is funny, because the video you sent me contradicts your point. The video just proves what I said: Yellow label as a race is a western construction. The video talks about a Western sexual preference on Asians. But Asian people do not consider themselves as "Yellow" in their common lives. They only use this term when they are referring to western categories, specially when talking to foreigners in English. If you don't believe me, come here in Thailand and ask people in Thai if they are Yellow. They are not going to understand you. Even the word "White" is not used here. They call all white westerners as "Farang". A black person is called "Dam Farang" (They consider Black Africans as Westerners!) and there is no proper words for South Americans. This division you are used to (Black, White, Latino, Yellow, etc) is a Western racial classification. It is not an universal category. Westerners love to impose their own categories to the world. You called me 'Latino' without knowing anything about me. 'Latino' is an american census category. We don't use that word to label ourselves in South America (where I was born). We only use the term 'latino' when we are talking to foreigners, specially Americans.

The problem is that you are trying to insert western categories to Asia which sounds colonialist to me.

I don't understand you guys. This is a different, more unique story, and you wanted, and would prefer if it had…
First, I am not a latino.
Second, I live in Thailand. All I say is based on my experience, not in stereotypes. I work here and I have a partner here. I have traveled to many provinces (more than 20). I am not so ignorant about Thailand as you think.
Third, yellow is a term used by westerns and Asians who live in the West. No one in Asia call themselves "yellow" as far as I know. You seem to be too much westernized. Having Thai blood does not mean you comprehend Thai culture.

I never said all light skin people in Thailand is Chinese and all the others are not. I just said that most people from Thai showbizz are light skin Chinese people. Thai Chinese are the real elite of Thailand, not the half-white. Thai Chinese people dominate politics, economy, media and even the beauty pattern comes from them.

By the way, Chinese blood reaches much more than 10% of Thailand's population. Since they are very assimilated to the Thai society, they tend to not consider themselves Chinese any more just one generation after the immigration, specially when just one of the parents is Chinese. One of my best Thai friends has a Chinese father, but he does not consider himself a Chinese. Actually, he loves to say how Chinese people from Mainland China are rude and impolite and he brags about his "Thainess". Althought, if you look at him, he looks like a Han Chinese like his father. The statistics put the Thai Chinese as 14% of the population, but the numbers are higher, since many descendants do not consider themselves as ethnic Chinese. You said that Thai Chinese are concentrated in Bangkok! This is not true! In some southern and northern provinces the percentage of Thai Chinese is even higher than Bangkok. Hat Yai, for example, in the deep south, has a huge Thai Chinese population. Chiang Mai, in the north, is the same. The powerful Shinawatra family, for example, who gave Thailand two of its recent prime ministers is a Chinese family from Chiang Mai. If you look for the ancestry of many young Thai actors you will see many of them have some Chinese ancestry.

About LBC, I don't think the actors are so good as you say. But it is your opinion and I am ok with that. I know you think Drake was casted because he is half-white. It is ok. But, for me, many actors in Thailand are casted only because they have light skin. And many of them, in my opinion, are in the BL industry.

In my opinion, BL stories' plots have nothing to do with the acceptance of LGBT people in Thailand. They are not cheesy and unreal because of the prejudice against gay people. They are unreal because the entire lakorn industry is like that. If you watch Straight Thai Romances on TV you will see it is the same case.
LGBT rights are much more developed in Thailand than we know. Homophobia was criminalized in 2015 and same sex marriage is about to be voted.

Yellow color is an westocentric definition. In Asia people generally don't use the word "yellow" to describe themselves. It is even considered racist by some people.
Most Thai actors/actress who have light skin are not half-european. They are ethnically Chinese, that is why they have that color. About 40% of Thai people have some Chinese ancestry, that is why they seem to be lighter than Burmese, for example.
The Chinese looking is the dominant beauty pattern in Thailand. Some half-white actors/actress are considered beautiful in Thailand precisely because they look like with the idealized Chinese pattern: light skin and small eyes. This is the case of Mario Maurer. But if a half-white thai person do not have this looking we are talking about, he is not going to make success easily. My tee is a good example. Frank, a Chinese looking guy, is gaining much more attention than Drake, a Half-White Thai. And both are not good actors.

PS: your comment is contradictory. First you say colorism is the problem. Then you say Love By Chance is better. Well, the entire cast of LBC have a Chinese looking. The only brown actor is Earth, and he did not get a leading role. The four couples are made up by light skin actors. So I don't get the point.

Hes starting an acting career in Thailand because he knows no american company will ever hire him for his wack…
American TV and entertainment industry is is full of crappy acting.

In the West, you don't have to be good actor or actress to get attention either. A lot of horrible actors/actress or singers are successful only because they have the look the industry wants. It is not only in Thailand.

The problem in Thailand is that the Thai Chinese are considered more handsome than others. They dominate the beauty pattern. The light skin obsession comes from their appearance.
