I live in Thailand for one year and a half. Personally, I don't think the characters are not Thai. Actually, the Thai soap operas and Thai BL stories have many unrealistic characters. Thai people are not like that. Many girls in Thailand are like Arisa. I am a teacher here and I can relate that character with some students I have.
The doctor's character is completely stupid and makes you want to shoot him! His obsession with protecting Meena made him pathetic! It was so annoying!
