Although I enjoyed this drama, several things really grated on me here. First, I really could not understand the…
Well, I don't think they had the intention to serve justice to everyone. If they wanted to do that, they would have be more kind to Mate. He was the coolest male son of his parents and he was totally fucked up by everyone. I think the unfairness was on purpose. I am not sure that all was really forgiven. They can see each other now, but I bet the scars are still there, maybe forever. Maybe, someday, things are going to explode again because of those scars. Who knows?
This plot is completely crazy. Who in his sense would reject a very hot neighbour and prefer a weird and badly dressed guy who only exists in his dream? By the way, if Dream does not exist, what does prevent Runway from keeping both? Why does he have to be committed to a fantasy? And dude... the acting here is not that good...
I thought I was the only one. Tbh, this series was meh for me from the get go. It has this dark like mysterious…
Thx God there are no demon or serial killers here. Thailand has a lot of horror series and movies, so you can look for them. This is a sci-fi, not a horror. It does not intend to be dark and bloody.
Does anyone else feel like the drama between Earth and Sam is a bit manufactured and formulaic? The issues between…
I think I disagree. It does not seem Earth and Sam were making it work together before Stud . It is clear for me that their relationship was a spent force since the first episode. They had problems for a while, specially because Earth is so possessive and bossy and likes to complain about Sam's work everyday. I don't like people who complain about something all the time. He knows his husband has to work. When they got married he knew Sam had that job, so why complain now? The same argument can be used for Sam! If he finds that Earth is a pain in the ass, why don't leave him? Better leaving than cheating. I really think both are annoying characters. Stud is the bad guy here, but at least he is going to make Earth stop being a sucker. Earth is boring as hell. The most boring character of the series. People see him as hero only because they love Singto. Yes, I know Stud is fucked up, but I can't help it! I like the character! I have to disagree too when you say: "And Stud just decides to insert himself into the relationship as if there aren't plenty of single guys out there". Well, in real life there are a lot of single guys and girls out there, but people still get involved with married persons. So, I don't see anything as manufactured or formulaic. I see a couple who had hidden problems for a while and Stud was the catalyst who made the small cracks turns into a crater.
There are a lot of stereotyped and unrealistic gay dramas nowadays. Finally we have something a bit different. I am enjoying everything. I hope we keep having different types of gay dramas. I am tired of the old formula used for all asian BL stories.
I like this theory. It will make sense everything why Tharnam only appears to Tonmai. Or maybe on the day Tonmai…
Well, I was just thinking about this theory because if you rewatch episode 1, it is clear that they wanted us to believe that the birth and the death happened at the same time. Why? Maybe it is the cyclic course of life and death that composes Samsara. Thailand is a Buddhist country, so I think it makes sense. When Tonmai went to that room, he had to deal with the demons of his past life, then he created a psychological reaction in a form of a ghost. So, it is possible that she is not possessing him at all. It is just his past life karma who controls his present day life for some reason, problably because of Tee's presence. And Tee can see "her" because he is attached to this karma as well.
Are Thannam and Tonmai the same person? Maybe she died and was reborn as Tonmai. That is why she seems to be attached to him. Maybe she is not a ghost at all, but a reminiscence of a past life that was awaken when he got contact with one object of his past life: that bedroom. Generally objects from a past life are a catalyst for bringing back memories of old existences. This is how, for instance, they choose the Dalai Lama, bringing to him some objects of his past life and testing his memories.
It would explain too why Tee seems to be so connected with Tonmai. He feels Thannam's presence on Tonmai since the first time they met.
I know that, technically, the past life karma is present since the conception and not only from the birth, but they can change some Buddhist beliefs in a fantasy TV show.
Some BL fans are a pain in the ass. They look like robots asking all the time everywhere: "Is that BL? Is that…
I like BL series too (excepting the rape parts). I just think that Thailand is an amazing country that can offer us much more than we can imagine in terms of TV shows.
Yeah, I remember this having a 9.3 average rating just the other day. Anyway, #21 in the Top Rated list isn't…
It is not the same thing. This show have ended many days ago and the ratings did not change after that. It droped only now. And it dropped 0.4 in one single day. All ratings during one entire day were above 5. It is clearly on purpose.
What about Project S SOS? It finished one year ago. And the ratings droped only now! How can this be possible? The same thing happened. In just one day, it droped 0.4. The same people who voted against The Gifted voted against SOS. Of course the ratings don't affect our opinion on the show, but it is ridiculous to do this kind of thing.
Edit: the most interesting part: today many of the bad ratings were withdrawn.

The worst part is that people behind this are fans of other thai series, specially BL ones. They attacked both Thai series with higher ratings, this one and SOS.
