Right? I swear the episodes just keep getting better 😭 and there's so much tension the build-up is perfect I'm just so in love with this show!

i just adore how their romance progressed! The pacing is amazing it's perfectly spread out through the 36 episodes! Omg I love it when they started realising their feelings for each other, it reminds me of those good old romance dramas that would give me butterflies when I was in hs! So adorable!

Exactly and they don't remember anything 😭 it's like watching a drama within a drama😭 the only other mortal realm arc I ever liked was the one in TMoPB because it was essential to the story and that's where they met😭 but usually it's just boring filler episodes :/

Also can i just say this show has one of the best mortal realm arcs among xianxia dramas. So refreshing, not the usual trope!

Yes i secone LBFaD! It's such a gem! Cute characters that don't take themselves too seriously, very funny , villain as the main guy which is interesting, and amazing cgi, lighting, sets and costumes (esp for a Xianxia! Truly the best effects I've seen so far) you should give it a go despite the weird title!

It's one of those dramas where you cannot predict what happens next, but not not to the point where you get frustrated with the show. The build-up is really great and it creates just the right amount of tension! It has lots of fun moments and lots of good characters, and it's amazing to see them come together. It's a really "satisfying" watch if that makes sense! On a side note, I was gladly surprised to see the route they chose for the Crown Prince, I was expecting him to just be one of the bad guys without a brain of his own, yet there he is helping our main leads! It's just so satisfying to see all of them work together towards the same goal!

This drama is incredible 😭 I'm already planning a rewatch lmao, I've just been dropping shows here and there but this is a true gem! And to think I went into this with 0 expectations
