I signed up for a masterpiece and I thought I made a good decision for the first 40 epiaodes but then the last 20 episodes happened and I pulled through it because I had already wasted too much time.
And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why people think Eternal Love is one of the best chinese dramas.
See that picture of YanXun I have as my profile pic? I chose it bc I loved the show and YanXun looked SMOKING HOT. Now I'll only keep it for the second reason.
And another episode full of unncecessary stuff, yay!
WHY DID THEY EVEN GIVE SO MUCH SCREENTIME TO CHUN'ER? WHY WHY WHYYY and then nothing happened! So we just wasted a lot of time which could have been used to ... i don't know... maybe wrap up the ending? I'm so done with these past few episodes. Our "main leads" always appear only at the end just to keep us excited for the next episode but that's it, no development. Also, Chun'er flashbacks were completely unnecessary! Shouldn't CQ have them? Last time I checked, she was the heroine of the show. If the writers are once again goning to forget who the MFC is then I'll regret wasting my time with this.
Glad to see more secrets being unveiled in episode 56 (65 tv)
Exactly TT how are they even going to wrap it up if they keep focusing on stuff like this tho :( That's why I was happy to see something about Chu Qiao's past being revealed in episode 56 but if they're gonna get back to talk about YX and Chun'er then that's a total waste of time, again :((
How many eps are supposed to be out? And where can I watch?
8 episodes are out ( another 4 will air today and tomorrow) and you can watch it on Viki but if you don't have the viki pass you can watch it on Kissasian
Wow can't believe this is gonna end. It has become part of my daily routine to watch it, even yesterday I was like "Well, I've got nothing to do so let's watch Princess Ag- ... oh snap, there are only two more episodes left."
The first half of the drama (the first 20 eps mostly) feels like a completely different drama now that we've reached the end. Like wow- is that even the same show haha
Anyways, I have to praise Shawn Dou and Li Qin for their portrayal of YanXun and Chun'er throghout the series! It was amazing to see how their personalities changed and again, they're so different from what they were like at the beginning.
I dropped this at episode 9. It just didn't do the trick for me :/ Don't get me wrong, it had amazing cinematography and even to this day I still listen to the OST but that was it for me. I didn't drop it because it was "overrated" because I started watching it while it was airing and stuff so I had very little expectations. I've honestly not dropped this because I didn't like it but because I kept being dragged away by other amazing airing/completed shows that were "getting in the way" and that I was enjoying a lot more. I just simply never got back to this drama and don't think I ever will, it was just angsty and that's all I can remember.

What is this drama even doing to my heart.
