This drama was amazing! It was so sad yet so beautifully executed! The ost song is still playing in my head lol

Anyways, I must say that the romance saved it for me because it did get a liiiiitle bit boring in the middle but yeah, it was still worth watching! The romance so pure and beautiful, the 2 main leads only had eyes for each other but the presence of the *coughs* extremely good looking *coughs* second male lead made it even more addicting and the love triangle was overall well balanced!

I'll miss this :/

Finally finished this and it was a very enjoyable drama to watch. The story was good, the acting amazing as well but what really made me pull through it was the romance, which was done very well!

I highly recommend it!

The premise is simple. Plot predictable, so why watching? For the so bad moments that are actually entertaining.…
My thoughts exactly! This is so entertaining haha

I went into this with no expalectations at all, considering the harsh reviews but I must say that I'm already on episode 33 and I'm enjoying this too much to drop it now :D The plot may seem predictable but hey, this is so much more entertaining than many other shows I've watched :D loving the chemistry, loving the two leads, the pace is still good at least up to where I'm at right now so yeah, this is good!

Oh, and you can't even have second lead syndrome bc the leads are enough to make you fall in love with them!

How come on Vicki there are only 58 episodes yet on here it says it has 67 episodes? Where can I watch the rest?
It's the same, it's just that the 67 "version" is the TV one so the episodes were cut differently and have different lengths, in order to fit the timeslot if i'm not wrong (?). Anyway, they're the same but they decided to go with the 67 episodes here bc that's the version that was broadcast on television, but I personally watched the 58 ep ver. Also, Viki has no missing episodes.

Ok, I've finally finished this and I gotta say that this is the best chinese drama (or even asian drama in general) I've ever seen. Flawless acting, flawless script, flawless plot. I loved every single moment of it and I have never felt bored throughout the entire 76 episodes! I have never felt tired watching it and I finished it in only 2 weeks (in which i also had to go to school, study, sleep and have a social life) yet the episodes flew by so fast, I wish I hadn't started it so I could watch it all over again and feel the same.

The drama is a long, long deep emotional rollercoaster that helps you learn so much about palace etiquette and titles in the Qing Dynasty but still manages to keep you entertained with clever twists and characters that you'll end up empathizing with (even if they did unforgivable things).

I learned so much thanks to this drama and it will always hold a special place in my heart.

Nah, just drop it now that you can.
I don't want to spoil anything for you but I'm just gonna tell you that this drags a hella lot, and the ending is terrible becaude there really isn't any ending and the actual story is only supposed to start at the end so this whole 60 episode drama is JUST a trailer for a sequel that maybe will never come true.

You did well. This drama is really not worth anyone's time and I wish I had known what the ending would be like before wasting 60 hours of my life with this, but unfortunately I watched it when it was still ongoing

just finished it a second ago (literally) but had the mydramalist page open already lol. Anyways, I really enjoyed this drama and finished it in 2 weeks without forcing myself to watch!
The beginning had to be my favorite part but it kept me on the edge of my seat for the whole time, although there were some draggy parts in the middle but aren't they everywhere?, anyway, the ending was good, maybe not completeeeeeeely satisfiying because of Solhi and the whole princess thing but this was more focused on the characters and their evolution rather than the political intrigues and palace stuff. I highly recommend it anyway.
