It has been so long waiting for Xukai's new drama. Thus, I rewatched some of his previous works. Just rewatched his scenes in FIYS and The Legend last week. Apparently he has grown a lot in acting

No. With regard to the original work, they are connected, same universe by Ting Ling. However, while ALP kept the system describled in the book, there was fundamental change in story background in moonlight mystique, making it as a standalone work despite keeping some common names of a few characters. Just choose the one that you want to spend time on. ALP is very good xiaxian drama with logical story, vast world view and exceptional CGI (visual effect). Thus, it is worth to give it a try too

Indeed, his hair style in BCE and ABAY looks similar. it was said that the director in BCE saw his style in ABAY and wanted to keep that hair style. However there was a subtle variation, thus if you paid attention, you probably realized that Yao Zhi Ming has brown shaded hair while Han Ting has conventional black one. I don't think his hair style in She and her perfect husband resembles the one in BCE or ABAY. In a BTS clip, they explained Yang Hua's hairstyle to make him look as a good mother's son, kind and simple man. And the one in FIYS is different as well. His hair style in Fire investigator and 800m definitely looks very much apart from the CEO's ones

In moonlth reunion, his front hair was used and combined with the wig thus it brought more natural look. Anyway, if he takes some month break then he has enough time to enjoy this special look and then have his hair dyed any other color if needed

I would like to add another reason for her ambition is she wanted to be independent and strong. Because of her origin, her past life was always depended on others' arrangement. In the post ancient time, albeit being the empress, she could not control her own life completely. Mu Guang held higher position and had more power than her. She was exiled to Netherland by him when her sin was revealed. And when the true gods awoke, she was afraid of going back to low position as a servant who had to care for others' attitude in anything. By having the absolute power, she could be the strongest, fully independent.

I read on Douban that Xu Kai’s original voice sounds like Taiwanese or abroad Chinese. Thus it was suitable for characters as Yao Zhi Ming or Han Ting who had been living abroad for long time. Maybe some certain accents are more overlooked for ancient costume drama than others. Take example of Dilan Wang in his latest drama. He had strong Si Chuan accent . The script had modified the CV of his character to suit that accent. But still he got a lot of negative reaction from viewers and the publics. Since i can’t judge his accent thus i trust and hope that the producer is doing the best and choosing the most optimal option for this drama to make it successful
