I don't mind her voice. It's said that her voice is very similar to the game character who is very young girl too. So, her voice matches her characteristics and age.
The storyline is interesting and full of mystery. Acting performance of the cast is good. Many fighting scenes (with demons) have good visual effect

It seems that xianxia dramas prefer romantic reunion between the leads to family reunion with kids around. It's mentioned a daughter between Yuan Qi and Feng Yin in the ending of Shen Yin but in The Last Immortals, those two even did not embrace each other.
Actually in Shang Gu novel, Shang Gu was so nervous that she returned to the papilion in the peach blossom forest. Bai Jue came to her and she saw his figure and asked those question. Seeing his figure in the sunset and hearing his line "Shang Gu, I am Bai Jue" it made her best moment in life. Then ending.
So the drama tried to made the ending more meaningful and eventful

If I understand correctly RenHai was the source of water and vitality in Sheng Nong. Luo family stole it to nurture the desert where they lived. They had to sacrificed their soul to keep it. Therefore, Luo brother's soul was sealed with it and he could not go outside of Luo's plantation. This kind of selfishness was also agaist laws of earth and heaven so the family got cursed that they always had twins and the lifespan of the twins was very short. The brother sucked power and energy of his sibling causing her short life.

the scene with drunken Qi and Jin Zhao reminds me the scene of drunken Shang Gu and Bai Jue. =))

I knew that Zhi Yang and Xuan Yi were born first and second (which was mentioned in Shen Yin). I don't recall if Xing Ling mentioned the birth order of ancient true gods. But they were born in the same era which differed from the drama in which Shang Gu was born much later. Gu Jun was a god in immotal realm, Shang Gu didn't know him and somehow he got a piece of her origin when she sacrificed. Wu Huan was a god who worked in Shang Gu's palace but low position. Shang Gu in the novel had 2 closed friends.
After the first Chaos Tribulation, Bai Jue travelled to collect Shang Gu's remain of spirtualsoul. He also built Qing Chi Palace. Gu Jun and Wu Huan lived there but Gu Jun was also away a lot. Later Wu Huan run after Mu Guang and divorced Gu Jun. The egg in which Hou Chi was hatched was formed after Wu Huan left Qing Chi palace.
Bai Jue said he had been waiting for Shang Gu for 11k years(or 13k). However, he never confessed to her. He just assisted her with all aspects of life and responsibility. He often went to the Peach Blossom forest (Tao Yuan forest) and sat there to look toward her palace. Shang-gu didn't know his feeling. On Yue Mi's birthday, she took Shang Gu to a pavillon facing to the peach blossom forest to watch " a play" , a female god confessing her feeling to Bai Jue. He declined and said he loved and waited for someone else living in the place which could be seen from his spot - implying Shang Gu. That had happened 300 years before she sacrificed. Since then Shang Gu started to love Bai Jue but did not know how to show it. Therefore, they were not together in God realm

yes, their life in god realm was mentioned near the end of the novel. However, it was not so eventful as in the drama

That was how it ends in the book too. For Shang Gu, after realizing Bai Jue's love for her, his sacrifice and her feeling , what she wanted most and made her happiest in her very long life is hearing the sentence "Shang Gu, I am Bai Jue" from him. The drama also let Bai Jue repair his relationship with Yuan Qi which did not happen in the book.

The book and the drama are very, very different from each other.
