Or maybe Ao Ge knew something when she could remember all of her past despite a number of reborn

Those gods represents for basic elements in the world and was created by the ancestral God. He used his energy and power to creat the true gods and 3 realms. The true gods took care of the realms based on their type of power. According to ALP story: in the begining there were 4 gods: Zhi Yang, Bai Jue who had immortal power, Tian Qi who had demonic power and Xuan Yi who had combination power (combined of both immortal and demonic power). The combination power is consider as supreme power, vital for every living things. Thus god who had this power is consider as chief God. However, the chief god is destined to save the world (aka sacrifice). Xuan Yi knew about the destiny thus he declined the role and became Ghost God. The ancestral God used his last bit of power to create Shang Gu then he disappeared. Therefore she was much younger than the other gods. Tian Qi who was quite liberal, took care of the FL and she was spoiled by others surrounding her. She was only 1 0 thounsand years old which is considered as very young. Althought she had the supreme power but her spiritual vein was sealed which required training and cultivation to unseal it. She was destined to take the chief role and to deal with the Tribulation which was coming in 1000 years. She was playful, childish (because of her age) and other gods took care of responsibility. So she was not awared of her role. Her closest caregivers (Tian Qi and Yue Mi were not so serious and strict in bring her up). That is why she had such characteristics. Bai Yue didn't have contact with her when she grew up. He was cold, serious and responsible. Thus, Zhi Yang thought Bai Yue could teach Shang Gu.
To enjoy this drama, you need a bit of patience. For me, it was on my top favorite

Bi Bo is higher level than A Yin (she is Water Beast) but they are kind of relatives

no, It is the same guy. In ALP, he was demi-god who was head principle of a school. The name of mountain where the school located is the same. Tian Qi told Zhi Yang that he is a good teacher but inferior to Bai Jue. Zhi Yang later sent him to Dong Hua's school

If I remember correctly, the god real gate was only closed when Bai Jue was reborn meaning the middle of the novel. Dong Hua could still elevated to the god realm at the beginning of the novel.

In the novel, he met his father once. It would be great to have Xu Kai playing cameo role but it didn't happen (Even I don't know if this scene was adapted in the drama)

it has 5 min happy ending (last for ~ 5min at the very end). The whole drama is a rollercoaster of emotions but it's worth watching

Cheng Que in Qing Chi palace in ALP became a woman who supervised the palace.

He knew his parents who were true gods. However, his father died to save the world (replacing his mother's fate). His mother was too grief and she kneeled to pray for the Father God to return her lovers for 500 years. Thus, he was taken care by other gods and later sent to Dong Hua's school in immortal realm.
Once he knew his true feeling, he kept his love for her. He didn't know she revived as the phenix king. Of course later he discovered that.
She on the other hand had to experience dozen of lives and in the end back to phenix king. She remembered everything but pretended that she was just sleeping and didn't know him. She carried the investigation of her case and the attack of demon's clan to Dong Hua's school.
In the novel it was happy ending by the epilogue (bad ending at the last chapter).
They were both senior gods but lived in immortal realm.

He had special parents and was treated in special ways since birth. Basically, Dong Hua and his brotherhood spoiled him. Due to the pure bloodline from True Gods, he also inherited the Chaos Power (Combined immortal and demon power) which is vitality for life. His potential was sealed by Tian Qi since he didn't know how to control his inner power. Actually, by the end of the book, he didn't become true god. He becomes senior god which is same level with Feng Ran.
His character, personality will be sharpened along the whole journey

yes, like his parents' love story in the drama (not in the novel where his father fell in love with Shanggu for 130 000 years before she had some idea of his hidden love, she didn't let him know before she sacritfied to save the world; The love story in the novel is quite different from the drama but I like the drama more)

No, Feng Yuan is supposed to be the most powerful character. She could have moved to the God Realm but she chose to stay in immortal realm to take care of Jing Jian's resurrection and the immortal realm as Empress

She considered him as friend. she knew he was framed and helped to free him. Hong Yi had affection to her but he had not confessed (in the novel)

Feng Ran took care of ML since he was born. His mother, Shangu was in coma/sleeping for 100 year after the delivery. Feng Ran was assistant of Hou Chi (the body with Shangu's sealed spiritual consciousness) and later Shangu. When Shangu returned to God realm with Yuan Qi, Feng Ran replaced Mu guang to be Empress of Immortal realm.
