I think water beast is immortal. Fox can be immortal or demon. Hong Yi could work in the Heavenly Palace because of the spell to hide his demon power. In the beginning, all creature (demons or immortals) were equal.

If I remember correctly what you are saying in is the 3rd novel: God Bai Shuo which will be adapted with Bai Lu as FL. I don't remember exactly. But that conversation could be only possible after Xuan Yi made his dead piece of soul in the Fire Phoenix Jade alive again.
And he didn't let her know his presence next to her during that time. Because of that conversation, Tian Qi also tried to "reproduce" Yue Mi as fast as possible instead of bring her up to god realm and wait for a few hundred years (I read the novel for some time already so I could not remember the detail)

I don't think that he know how to alive again when his soul dispersed. Only True Gods such as his parents or Zhi Yang knew. That was why Zhi Yang came to visit Xuan Yi

I can't read Mandarin so I don't understand what he said when he made the punishment. In the book, she was sentence to be normal person (remove immortal power) and exciled in Qing chi Palace until Daza mountain alive again. She didn't get that message. She thought he wanted to keep her there forever. She only understood what he meaned when she saw the live signal coming back to Daze Sect after he was perished completely

Difficult to say that is pursue. He supported her, collaborate with her and Feng Yuan (Feng Ran) to destroy Qing Lin's plan and investigated the case of Daze Sect. But he was technically dead. Only his spiritual consciousness remain. What other saw of him is created by the power of his sword. However, he was always beside her. He had given all of his power to recreate or he gave live again for Daze Sect. All of them would wake up one day (except him)

There is no lady from God realm, Hong Chou.. However, I don't think she would take revenge on her. About Hua Shuo, she fought agaist her till the end. And at the end Hus Shuo still had some conscience left (thank to Lan Feng's love for her, and she knew her father killed Lan Feng), she decided to use herself to stop her father. Hua Shuo in the book was ambitious but not as evil as in the novel.
