I absolutely ADORE Cheng Yi. Why does he have so many haters? This drama and JOL are very good. What’s the reason for the low scoring???

I adore Tiffy Tang, but 7.6 is way too high of a rating for this drama. Han De Rang was STEPPED ON this whole drama, he even married a woman who was all used up, having many children by a king who fell in love with another woman, lied to, and manipulated her and Han De Rang throughout the drama. I dropped this one out of annoyance.

I love the idea of this drama more than I love the drama itself. I felt like the drama was missing something that would give it the punch it needed. ROMANCE. Maybe it was the lack of chemistry between Reba and Wu Lei. It didn’t help that at the end of the drama Changge made it clear she didn’t want to get married. Consider that, along with the lack of chemistry and you’re left with a feeling that the couple will simply be bffs for life. Considering how hot both of them are I am left annoyed and wanting more. #BFFs 😒

Peng Xiao Ran is so underrated. I can’t wait for this drama!

I’m watching ep 5 and I’m still waiting to be wowed. The drama is slow paced, I’m still trying to find the significance of the letters, and the character Shen Cheng is annoying me to bits. I will continue watching because the reviews lead me to believe it gets better.

As a viewer that does not particularly like the ML for this drama, one can only hope he does.

I'm currently watching ep. 20, and I have to say, the actor cast for Zhang Shi Yang is doing an incredible job. He is super creepy and his micro-expressions are spot on. Well done.

We can agree to disagree. I found her terribly adorable, and unlike Xun'er, she was loyal until the end.

You are correct about the father being PDF's son, but that does not negate the fact that a man who would see your whole family decimated (regardless of circumstance), leaving you alone in the world, hoping you'd be FORCED to depend on him is a good man to marry. That's just my opinion. I think he is a narcissist, a user, and selfish. I dont find FL selfish, at all. I mean, she literally dug up a dead body to save a family she had barely known. On the contrary, that is the definition of selflessness. I understand her need for revenge too. That's also a part of being human when we are egregiously wronged. Although spiritually I could not carry out on the revenge because of my belief system. Also, as I stated in a previous comment, it could be my bias toward the ML and his off-putting personality that caused me to assume his family could be responsible for his wife's death.

I agree with you! This is quickly becoming one of my fav CDramas in a very short list of A+ dramas, and it's all due to the amazing female characters.

I'm sorry for misunderstanding that you were teasing. I still don't find the ML likable. I also detest how he is now trying to interject himself into her making her own decision regarding future marriage prospects. She could end up finding one of these prospects intriguing, but her family cannot even sit with another prospect's family without him butting in on the simple meeting. It's mega annoying! That's just my opinion. I think he is a narcissist, a user, and selfish. It's true we don't know who is responsible for ML's wife's death, it was just my guess as I detest the ML's personality, so I made a quick assumption that the family that spawned him would be capable of committing such an act, plus I think it'd add to the juiciness of the drama! Anyway, now that you mention it, ZSY could be responsible for the other daughter's death. What a jerk! I just want to punch him in the face now that his true colors have been revealed. I totally bought his good guy act in the beginning. Sigh.

In my opinion, that's what makes his acting appear stiff and robotic. I respect your POV though.
