It only took 2 episodes and TaeSung is here for HaeBom!!!!! The backstory was explained and now our babies can fall in love 🥰. This show is just what I've been waiting for! Some K BLs are reminding us that a short run time and limited epsiodes can still make for great tv.
I've never seen a Taiwanese film like this one. Raw, captivating and subdued. In the end I wanted more, because I wanted to spend more time with these characters, but the story didn't feel unfinished.
I watched both endings, but never felt invested in the story. It was competently made, but overall it was boring and unconvincing. It's only 30 minutes and on youtube, so watch it if you want.

Hahahahahahaha I literally just said the main character is my all time favorite character, but if that translates to "the series is ruined because some people don't like it", you need to learn to read.
I hope the cast and crew enjoyed their vacation. That seems to be the only reason this was made. I guess it would be to much to ask for them to have written an actual script, but ok. This should be lesson that random nudity and a hook in one of the strangest locations possible DOES NOT MAKE FOR A GOOD SHOW. I laughed a couple of times, but overall this is a complete waste of time.
After this week Fah has officially become my favorite seme ever. He's such a good person and great boyfriend. I'm really glad SaenAai are good again. I hope they last. My heart still breaks for Vee and Pan. It just doesn't feel like DomeVee can happen at this point. Personally I want them both to be huge stars. Jeff is easily my favorite singer and after KinnPorsche comes out, I hope he gets the recognition he deserves, but that hasn't happened yet. You being rude to me doesn't change that!
It's almost laughable that this is rated higher than You're My Sky. I guess people on MDL are into shows with MLs with unpleasant personalities. I wouldn't be that guy's friend and I don't feel like waiting around for this to get better.
I really liked it. It's very realistic and sweet. It's called boy scouts and they are doing exactly what boy scouts do, I'm not sure what people were expecting. I think everyone is doing a good job in terms of acting and production. I'm looking forward to part two, but I will be surprised if this "BL" ends with 2 boys in love.
Update: It ended before I had time to get invested in the characters. It seems like it was a passion project, but it was pretty underwhelming for me.
This is as bad as everyone is saying. A low bugdet blend of Not Me and ATOTS. If it had only focused on DinThan, it could have been decent. That couple and the sister and grandmother were the only good things about the show. I appreciated that the sister character wasn't used for laughs and was given her own happy ending.
Everything else was awful. The director failed the actors as much as the script did. I felt sincerity from everyone throughout the show so I could never hate it. But just when I thought the obsessive focus on whiteness from the product placement and using kids to sell the product was the worst thing about the show, the fight scene happened. Wow, I haven't seen anything that ridiculous since season 1 of the Vietnamese BL Tien Bromance. Tien Bromance is a MUCH better show than this.
TaeSung and HaeBom have always been my #1 favorite manhwa characters. I was so excited for this and within the first minute I knew this would be my favorite K BL of the year.
Yes I'm completely biased, but this was perfect for me. HaeBom is the cutest and must be protected!!! The leads did a great job and the bullies made me ANGRY. I wish the episodes were longer and I wish there were more episodes, but I'm going to look forward to every minute of this series.
It's only February and this is the best year for BL ever. Nothing can top You're My Sky IMO, but this is already a close second.

I loved season 1, but waited too long to watch season 2. Gao Shi De and Zhou Shu Yi seemed so much like a real couple that I had to keep reminding myself that this is a tv show. But I also loved Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi. Both couples broke my heart because of their long separations and all I wanted for both was for them to be happy together. Parents who keep their kids from the person they love are the biggest villians in BL for me. I absolutely hated Zhou Shu Yi's dad. Overall the show was very good and I liked that there was a plot larger than the couples. It would have been nice to see more from the 3rd couple, but I think it's a 9/10.
I'm gonna hope for a season 3 even if it never happens.
