This special episode really left me wanting more. Yu Zhen Xuan and Pei Shou Yi's relationship is heartbreaking and really tragic during the series, but this episode doesn't really tell us anything we didn't already know. They are one of the most unique pairs I've ever seen and I would love to watch a whole show about them. But since the screenwriter didn't provide more depth to their current relationship, I'm left feeling pretty unsatisfied.
They were the 1st BL couple to break my heart, I'm ready for them to do it again. This show looks so good. No engineers, no chefs a real hospital drama, can't wait
Once again GMMTV reminds us why we hate them. They spent years putting Earth in irrelevant roles and now that him and Mix have gotten famous because of ATOTS, they can't even bother to allow inter fans to watch their show. This is completely outrageous but not surprising.
I remember the years when a BL show would have a new episode and we'd have to wait days for subs. All the while the "straight" shows had no viewers but immediate subs 🤔. They spent last year giving us BLs where "crazy fandoms" and "effeminate gays" were the villians and this year we can't even watch one of the most anticipated BLs of the year. But War of Flowers gets posted with subs, is ANYONE even watching that show? We get it, GMMTV uses BL audiences and BL actors to make money, but they don't like any of us. EarthMix are the ones who are suffering and that breaks my heart more than anything! They both deserve all the recognition and success!
I'm mad at the company, but down voting the show hurts EarthMix, not GMMTV. Please don't sabotage the show on MDL.
Besides OffGun, BKPP, and MaxTul, BounPrem are the actors I trust most to deliver an amazing believable series. Knowing that this is actually coming out after we've waited soooooo long, has made this 100% my most anticipated show of 2022!
I agree. I'm not interested in following crazy rich characters, even less when they're acting cold and too serious.…
Yeah, since all the couple's issues can easily be resolved with a simple conversation, it's strange that the writers decided to make that plot the focus. Maybe the plot will evolve over the next few episodes once this is revealed, but the whole point of an episode 1 is to give viewers an interesting plot so they keep watching future episodes. That didn't happen here. I'm watching next week in spite of the contrived plot, not because it's interesting.
I like it so far. I watch BLs mostly for the leads, ZeeNew have good chemistry. HiaKuea don't have much yet, but it's the first episode so I'm fine with that. I feel like they could be really good together once they stop hiding their real selves for each other.
My only problem is the script. The premise is completely unrealistic and without seeing more of HiaKuea's relationship in the previous 18 years, it's hard to see why either would want the engagement and why Kuea would create this "perfect" doll alter ego thinking that's what Hia wants.
I'm also tired of stories that have super super rich characters. And I'm tired of dealing with colorism in so many BLs. I want to enjoy the show and not have to think about political and social issues while I watch. These are trends that have been a part of BL forever, so I won't blame this show for it. But in a time where Not Me and You're My Sky and other shows are telling compelling stories about regular people, it's hard for me to be excited about something that feels very average and outdated by comparison.
Episode 7 wasn't my favorite, but it set things up for next week really well. FahThorn continue to be my OTP, it's beautiful to watch them transition from basketball buddies to boyfriends so naturally. It's uncomplicated and refreshing. And I love how supportive the team is. Lots of hardships are coming for our other couples which is scary, but I can't to see what happens next week.
Also, coach Tuan is the devil and I don't think anyone should ever trust him!
Not bad until episode 4, then it became irredeemable. There's no plot and the characters range from boring to irritating, I'd say don't waste your time on this one.
can you recommend any other chinese bls? all ppl ever talk about is addicted so i didn’t think their were any…
Customized Companion, A Round Trip to Love and its sequel, Falling in love with a rival, Fanatic Love, Guardian, Han Zi Gao: The Male Queen, I Love You As A Man and its sequel, Irresistible Love, Kinematics Theory. There's others but those are some of my favorites, but they're all old for obvious reasons.
This was a great first episode. The actors really made the webtoon come alive. I'm so glad we don't have to keep settling for below average K BLs. It really is possible to make good show with a short run time. Can't wait for episode 2.
Strongberry does it again. In 11 minutes they gave us a better cooking BL than we've gotten in years. K BL can be good and even great, Strongberry always proves that. I hope everyone goes to their youtube channel and watches it.

But I'll keep watching for ZeeNew.
