I'll come back after it ends to see if it improves, but the cast is huge and squealed too much and I'm not into shows about stalkers. I wanted to stay for the GL, but the 1st episode wasn't for me. I hope it gets better, I want Saint's project to succeed.
2 minutes in and I already loved it. This reminds me of the days when China had the best BLs. I miss those days! Yeah it's low budget, yeah it's very similar to Addicted and I can't wait for the next episode!
Initially I thought this was one of those universes where only gay men exist, but I did see some women, so I guess not. I wanted to like this, then half way through episode one I thought, "why am I watching this"? I couldn't think of a good answer so I turned it off. This might have been ok in 2016, but it's not 2016 and lots of guys who like each other doesn't equal good tv. 2022 REALLY isn't the year of great BLs, I guess I'll go rewatch Not Me and You're My Sky again.
Sure the food looks good, but nothing else about this is good. It's amazing that a show with a cast that includes 2 fairly good BL actors could fail so spectacularly at being a BL.
I'm convinced they forgot to tell Mark he was in a BL until the end of episode 10. For most of the show it was obvious the only person in the entire world that he liked/loved/ wanted to be around was his MOTHER.
How do you cast Gameplay an actual chef in the role of Bie?!?!?!??! Bie is stupid, rich and useless. I'm not saying that to be mean, the show is about chefs, he's a real life chef and that's the character they gave him, how!?!?
Nuna is the best character here. I wanted to see more of her. The main couple probably should have been Aue and Prem, at least they had chemistry and a backstory. None of the couples in the show had any chemistry.
As a BL fan I'm offended that the BL audience was used to get views. We deserve more than being strung along just watch an 11 hour commercial for tea and a food delivery company. If you have no script, no competent director, no one who knows how cast and have actors who don't want to be in a BL, don't a make a BL.
I finished it only because of 2x speed, but it made me REALLY wish 3x speed existed.
Wow!!!! In a world where shipping is a bad idea and sooner or later things fall apart and ships die toxic depressing deaths, OffGun are here to save us all. Gun IMO is the best actor period and throughout the episode it was hard to differentiate between Gun, White and Black because it all felt real and really complicated. Off's acting always impresses me, but together they are perfect. I'm sad there only 5 episodes left 😢. I hope Sing and Mond get well soon!!
Only this show could have an episode with multiple women side characters who all showed to pretty much tell the couples to get it together 🤣🤣 and it worked!!!
Pan is in a horrible situation, but we needed to see Dome with her to show that he should be with Vee. Cheating is wrong and the pain Vee expressed throughout the entire episode showed one of the consequences of cheating. Things are gonna get worse before they get better, but I'm still not gonna hate either character for falling in love. Also, the coach telling them to work out there issues was awesome!
Saen's grandma is an old version of Saen and I loved her. She knew her job was to get her grandson his man and she played it sooooo well. Listening to her tell the story of her husband was so honest and beautiful. I never expected SaenAii to be the first couple to make a move but as it happened, it all made sense. Saen was the first confess, so them being a couple before the other couples is completely understandable. Saen's in bed confession was jist WOW!!! His confidence and honesty is just the best.
Ing was amazing!!! She came in, she said what she had to say and she left. So many BLs would have made her a bitter, evil or jealous person, but none of that happened. She behaved like a rational real person who never even liked Fah in the first place. She helped Fah and Tor admit their feelings within themselves which was wonderful.
Most shows would drag out the time between Fah falling in love with Tor and Fah confessing his love to Tor. But here it happened in a few days. The flashback of little Fah getting hurt and being mad becuase other boys brought their girlfriend's to watch them play alongside current getting hurt while playing with his boyfriend was so special. I guess we shouldn't tell Fah that he's been bringing his "boyfriend" to watch him play for 10 years 🤣🤣. I love this show!
Of the 100s of BLs I've watched. I can't think of one that I've loved this much. Every Saturday morning I wake up turn on my vpn and watch it on we tv with no subs. I've got an elementary school understanding of Thai, but that's still the best hour of tv every week. Then I rewatch this subs and love it all over again!
When the show started I was sad that the ratings weren't very high, but as the weeks go on and it continues to give us an incredible story with 6 new actors who are doing a better job than most veteran actors could. So I'm not sad anymore. People who don't love the show are missing out. I can think of DOZENS of BLs with awful characters, terrible plots and subplots & amateur production that people have loved. It would be great if MDL ratings weren't so skewed to allow "dropped" votes to weigh down ratings. It would also be great if people who barely watched episode 1 didn't come on here just to skew the vote. I can imagine that these have seen very few truly BAD BLs, but it is what it is. Every show isn't for everyone, but this show is essentially perfect for me and I can't wait for next week.
I laughed out loud multiple times in episode 2, but not in a good way. A bunch of shirtless guys cannot make a good BL. From the acting, to the story, to the mean manager and creppy dad, I can't. It seemed like 2022 was gonna be the year of great BLs, 2 months in I've dropped sooooo many. Oh well manga and anime are still great.

I guess I'm a sucker for BLs about basketball because this looks really good. Currently You're My Sky is my favorite show, even though this seems really similar, I'm excited to watch it. I hope it's as good as the trailer!
I love horror almost as much as I love BL, I finished the 1st 3 episodes, but this is just ok for me. After seeing Nut in Oxygen, I didnt have high expectations for his acting, but he's doing a really great job. So far though I find it to be pretty boring. The tone is all over the place constantly switching between horror, suspense and comedy. For me that's jarring.
The characters all seem very confused, about pretty much everything that's happening. Yes it's a mystery and things are supposed to be somewhat confusing, but the actors for the most part aren't showing that they understand what motivates their own characters.
In the main plot, Phat doesn't convey a sense of urgency to solve the mystery and since he's the main character, it's hard for me to be invested when he isn't. For me, Dream is the best part of the show. I've never watched a BL a thought, oh I wish the girl was the main character with the seme, but it happened with this show. I think story with Dream and Phob would be really interesting. But this is a BL so that's not where my mind should be going.
Overall, I wish the directing was better, but I'll try binging it when it ends to see if it got better.

The point about editing taking time is corrct. Also, most shows and movies wrap (finish filming) months before they air. It's also very common for shows to air weekly instead of dropping all the episodes at once. Netflix and some other are the exception. Production companies need advertisers to make money. And also need to build an audience over time. It's a waste of a lot of effort and money to drop an entire season at once.
Even though some situations in the show and episode are unrealistic. I loved this episode since we FINALLY got SeanBlack. OffGun will always be unmatched in terms of chemistry. I hope Gun gets well soon 😪
