Hey thank you so much for responding to me! And I'm happy to hear that, I don't want to ruin anyone's fun either.
I'm actually not a ship of any couple, and I like all the characters alone equally. I understand all of them, and I do think Xiangliu has the greatest magnetic appeal. Tushan Jing is what Tong Hua wrote him to be, and maybe he's not for everyone, but he seems to work with Xiao Yao.
Truthfully, to be honest with you, I have the same psychological issues as Xiao Yao (avoidance, bad family past), and I had "live only for today" crazy kind of love that caused the most painful heartbreaks. Eventually... I met my own Shiqi. He may be safe, boring, but the love is true and stable and I've never been happier. Tong Hua wrote so many different types of men in her story, and look at how popular and appealing they are, to different people.
Like whoever you like, they're all fictional anyway. In our real lives, lets all choose to our heart's content for ourselves, just like Xiao Yao did. Maybe I'm getting too old and I rant like a old woman (you all seem pretty young, so it must be true lol).
I don't meant to jump in, but please don't use "jingers" on every comment that is biased towards Jing, because a commenter like that don't represent all the Jing or Yaojing fans. I see a lot of them also keeping quiet, and unsupportive of such comments, and some just posting happy moments that make them feel good. Meanwhile, I know a select few are very vocal, please see them as narrow-minded individuals instead.
I try not to comment on such posts, but stereotyping all the comments in this way is hurtful to fans and I'm frankly feeling a bit tired of seeing it., and I'm on no ship and just want a positive experience. Why does everyone want to fight instead of get along? Things don't help if we get rude, no matter who started it. This won't stop people from being rude/disrespectful, but responding this way sure adds oil to the fire, and just bad overall.
I have seen many of your posts and comments, and I really respect you, find you very funny and strongminded, and hope you won't take this the wrong way. I will keep this under spoiler so I hope just you see it, feel free to private message me if you want, or lend me your thoughts here. Hope you have a great day!
She ends up happy ending and married to TSJ. But SOO MUCH happens on the way, thats why this drama is so angsty…
Her father is Chichen, the General of the Chenrong Army who died with her mom, and is her mom's true love. So her dad, the Haoling King knew Mom loved Chichen, so their marriage was just a political one, without love. But the love he has for her, and for (not his) daughter Xiaoyao is true. The ring he wears is her mom's finger bones, I don't know the whole context about that (it's in the prequel book, Once Promised).
She's not half demon, her dad is called "the demon" Chichen but its more because of his aggressive reputation in war. She's full regular diety.
Its implied, since he can never appear again. Doing something as public as stealing a bride, everyone is demanding for answers and explanations, so Xiangliu has to kill off this identity to appease the people.
