I hope the drama will spin something, because of censorship they toned down the Vampire thing. In the book, they're pure vampires, so there was no star shards or powerful families, so the brother being Situ is simply that.

Yeah, the BTS of the kiss was MUCH longer and the director was adamant about the hand placements and stuff. Then in actual they cut most of it :(

Honestly think they censor cut it. There was a scene in Ep 1 (after Weilian saves SZH) that seems to cut of him giving him blood when he says he's starving.

I almost died laughing when SZH was using that fake tongue to "lick" FL mom's face.

They got separated really young, like ages 10 & 14, and over 100 years ago.

Weilian only got close to him 3 years ago, and hasn't exposed his powers, plus they can eat human food (until recently our ML cannot after his injuries), so theres no way to tell, I guess.

Reading the novel, the villain is just as cartoony. A little boy trying to wear big bad pants. Hes always thinking things like "look at me now, I'm rich, ,not the poor starving boy from before." and being nervous around rich powerful folks, and actually wet-his-pants scared of the ML. But I do think this actor lacks in acting skills.

I'm glad because I'm kind of sick of the Republican dramas with the Japs, tbh. I just want a pure vampire story with powerful secret families and a warm relationship between two souls.
