So you hate Xing Zhi, and if its because he's a seemingly weird jealous guy that likes her/or not & push and pull and all that. But theres a big reason why he is the way he is. I'd suggest watching EP 21 for his explanation, at least. He's a very lonely God who has lived for a long time, and Shen Li means so much to him, but he just cannot, must not love her and struggles because he cannot help it. If you still don't care for him, you can abandon the story. You want to know if it picks up, and yes it does, but its a love story, so what picks up is their relationship. Literally everything around them moves their relationship, even the secondary characters, even the villains... Theres no point watching if you don't like the ML character, because you won't be able to feel for the love between them.

Always, like in what way? Like they dont take it off even on down time? Most of the time it stays since it takes so long to remove/setup, so they film continuously all day long, depending on location. Thats why they never get wet for real lol. But yes, they always do wear wigs for filming. Some of the ladies/actresses that have their own long hair won't need wigs, just extensions & decorations.

You should watch it for the story and their chemistry lol. But warning that the genre is a bit hard to sit through, its a lot of action and politics and war. Now that there is TLOSL, you don't have to be fearful of the ending.

Off the top of my head, Aside from the terms, like Extranatural realm, Immortals/Diviners, etc. Some of the jokes, like "Selling/prostituting myself" and "selling ginseng" sound the same. The fisherman name joke. And some of the dialogue, the english ones cut it short or over simplify it. Some lost in translation, like when Shenli said "There was no one before. He's Xingzhi" the literal sentence was "Before, there was no one that is Xing Zhi (meaning no one else was capable/willing to protect her, but this man and this identity only, and it has a much more profound meaning)" I saw some people confused there.
Another one is when ShenLi got sick, and Ruoya was saying Gods are heartless/unbothered. And XZ says "I dont know", he meant "I'm not sure (about that)" because he IS bothered and has feelings and just realized it.
Another was in the cave scene, Shen Li said more before she..kissed him but I need to go back to see it, I forgot it exactly and I'm at work now. Cave scene NSFW.

Guys theres no angst or super villain plot, if you're not loving the characters and interested in their love story, u can let go . the drama is a long love story
