On Summer Strike Nov 28, 2022
So far, 4 episodes are out now, and I would say that it is a slice of life through and through. Relaxing vibe that is perfect for those that just doesn't want to think too much about the plot of a drama albeit it has some hecticness too so that it doesn't just remain boring. It isn't too striking of a drama where you would remember it strongly, but I feel that when I did watch it, I did really like the way they approached the character. Hoping that this drama will end well.

Title Reborn Rich
Episode 2 turned out great. That final line was killer, and it does remind me of again my life. Hoping it will be good as that drama.

is this drama worth watching? is there enough romance in it or some miscommunications going on, overall feeling?
Romance is pretty strong in this one. Definitely worth watching for a lighthearted one with some emotions.

However, from a criminal psychology perspective, there would have been more victims. Why did he specifically want…
He may not have been a serial killer and just the usual killer with psychological issues. In his talk with the stalker dude, he said that he has been repressing his urge and is probably doing well in that department since he has not been caught for 18 years already.

Whilst I am not an expert in criminal psychology, I have read that criminals that prey on children do not really care about genders as long as they are below the age of 11. Pre-school is what they go for. Could be that he wanted to make his kidnapping go unnoticed so he never approached female child directly but rather ask another child to lure them. Usually pre school children trust their same aged friends more. If the stalker child went missing too, I think it will increase his chances of being caught since someone could have seen him approaching the boy.

As shown in the ep, he buried the dad with the female child so our assumption can be that he buried his victim together. Seeing how they didn't discover more with all that excavation, this isn't a serial killer. He has urges to kill people but he can still control himself from doing anything for 18 years. If no one brought the case up, he would have remained as a fish seller without being caught. He didn't even kill the police dude which shows that he has control despite not feeling guilty of his murders.

Not the best execution but with the amount of scene they give us, we can still piece the overall story ourselves as viewers. Still would have been better if they write about the motive of the killer, either through him having an interview with doctors or something.

She was kidnapped and killed by the fish seller guy
To add to Tiara comment, Fish seller guy is a psycho whom kills for fun. That's the motive. They found gyeyoung buried so case closed.

I feel like the drama already informed us about his motive through the talk he had with the Lee Jin Geun (Stalker dude) where he mentions how he can't hold his "urges" back. His urges being the feeling of wanting to murder people.

He is not doing it for the sake of profit or revenge but rather just for the fun of it. That's him showing traits in psychopathy like tendency to manipulate others, superficial charm, abnormal egocentricity, and lack of empathy that shows up as guiltlessness. With how he kept quiet on Gye Young murder for the most part in court, he is unlikely to reveal more information in court so I guess that's why no one was interested in finding out more victims.

It is only when his childhood friend (police dude) whom he didn't kill convinces him to drop a big hint but still, he doesn't get charge for those murder due to a lack of evidences.

Agree on the restaurant not opening up for so long, Gye Hoon must be really loaded to keep the restaurant afloat and also buy that plot of land. It was an alright drama for me.

Title Again My Life Spoiler
I'm not satisfied with the ending. Hahahaha
He shouldn't had died since he escaped the country with his influence and planted a fake body instead. The business woman summed up his character pretty well for having a cause to build a better korea whilst being evil which is contradictory already. Either you gotta be full on evil or just be honest and good.

If they proceed with a season 2, businesswoman character seems fun to be next villain with full on money thrown at her goals. Tae Sub just had the bando bank as his funds which is easy to falter.

Title Bloody Game Spoiler
What a good show lol. So much fun. 2nd season will be great if they ever do it. Na Yeong and Yeon Seung were the…
Na yeong was likable and "innocent" where the viewers sympathize until the time she started to "face-change" into an individual that had too much rage and injustice in her which forces her to reset the whole basement for the upper floor team, leaving them nothing. Can't blame her for her action since it was a 50/50 because on one hand, it was really unfair for her at the start and yet, the upper floor did treat her nicely when she went up.

I don't think it was 100% justified on her part since the whole basement was one family that achieved victory together. If some of the basement member wanted to keep some stuff like toilet paper and a mattress for the upper floor peeps, that would be fine but she override that decision through throwing it out.

I would say that pretty much every cast member here has their downsides and they added so much flavour into the show which as a viewer, I soak it up like no tomorrow. That's human for you, we live with our imperfections. My best pick would have been the combo of Dex, Jae Il and Keun Woo because of how loyal they turned out to be to each other and they were always about playing fairly with the least amount of scheming.

Of course, in bloody game, that's the worst trait to have as a team since betrayal is key. That's why Ji Min turned out to be a really strong player that could have won if the whole basement rule didn't exist. Song Hyun made it that far by being neutral most of the time without involving herself too much in schemes. She would have been the polar opposite of Ji Min which shows both playstyle is viable.

Overall, I enjoy the cast's interaction because each and every one of them played it seriously with something to bring to the table. The winner was deserved with both wits and the physical.

Not sure why the show is rated 8.2 but this deserves way higher based on the games quality, emotions, storyline, reference and psychological aspects. It's almost like a survival battle royale drama but not scripted.

Title Our Beloved Summer Spoiler
What kind of happy ending he need?
In many kdrama out there, usually second male lead had to atleast try to confess so that they get rejected. This would bury the hatchet forever and second male lead can actually move on to someone that actually cares. Same thing happened in Hometown Cha Cha if you have watched that. I would say that if he does confess, it would be more benefit than cons because sometimes you need to hear the word of that person whatever the truth may be in order to move on.

She did nothing wrong though.
In our preview for episode 10, we see choi woong confessing to NJ in the car where many people thought he was actually confessing to NJ. Turns out when the actual episode is out, CW is only talking about liking the action of driving so yeah, they make the preview as shocking as they could without the full context to keep us on edge.

That could be another point as to why he drew only buildings, because when he was young and had that traumatic experience of crying alone in the middle of a crowd that goes by without even asking him or helping him. Only the skyscraper remains unchanged and giving him comfort.

Quick Question..Does bro code exist in real life? Do guys consider friendship more imp than a gal?
Considering that they are bestfriends + childhood friends, it would be even more likely for the bro code to exist since the parents of choi woong actually treat ji woong well.

Title Our Beloved Summer Spoiler
Am I the only one who found NJ unnecessary and annoying? Or I just really love the Main Couple?
I thought of them as adding angst rather than just unnecessary and annoying because they are the driving force that would lead the Main Lead to be together. Plus, NJ not only has the visuals but gives us some break in between that is geared toward comedy. Ji Woong on the other hand is that friend that had always felt himself being a observer or "the side character" of the Main couple storyline despite the fact that he is much brighter, athletic, and have way more friend in the past. Still, he feels inferior and we will see that perhaps all this time, he has his own purpose that is just as noble which is why the female PD has shown the same crush towards him.

Anyway, the SOEN CEO guy is out of the picture so we need some rivals in the house.

Title Bloody Game
This show is fun to watch with the psychology aspect of the genius and society game present whilst adding some element of parasite + squid game. Highly recommend to watch and since all the cast members are actually people we are not familiar with, you will go into it without rooting for anyone and seeing their evolution overtime. Even with cameras, this doesn't feel scripted and truly about people betraying left and right to create the bloodiest game without any actual blood shed.

To be Honest ,, I've watched the drama for the leads and the plot's pacing was disappointing ,, all I've remember…
I think they are trying to prove that human left with their own device can't be contained nor controlled. With the Covid-19 pandemic, people still choose to be maskless or is anti-vaxx when clearly by scientific studies and government regulation, it is mandatory to get one to go outside.

But people would go out and start infecting others that is trying to protect themselves (such as intentionally coughing or is paying others to get the vaccine for them then forging the vaccine card which states that they have taken the vaccine). Same principle here. Just that they take it up a notch with a virus that actually causes people to go rabid. It's also the case that there is 3 people trying to maintain order over 10+ individuals. When one issue occurs, another one popped up. All they can do is prioritize and try to maintain the status quo which is difficult when people are so desperate.
