Wow... the new guy in Episode 11 is handsome. Who is he?
I'm watching it unsubbed but - she does refer to him as gege/brother. Only I think he must be like "older brother-like boy" or an adopted brother because they are awfully friendly.
Question how can a person be dead and still continue making shows. Google time. This shit ain't even funny
Because he worked continuously and Chinese shows are often notoriously late in airing because of government restrictions. In fact, how much he worked contributed to his depression and suicide so please be a bit more respectful.
Although dated, this is a really sweet Korean movie about two small town buddies who go to mandatory military training camp after the ceasefire of the Korean War. They are complete opposites - one skinny and one fat - but they are such good friends. They overcome the obstacles of training, competition with other soldiers and missing their family. Very much a bromance in the purest sense of the word. I watched it from the great Korean Film Archive YouTube Channel. Highly recommend.
I really liked watching the film for the juxtaposition of "modern" life layered on the reminders of the Korean War as well as traditional male/female relationships. Quite frankly. heroine Gyeong-a (played by Ah In-suk) is really a substitute for all the thing broken by modern society. I've read a few reviews that view her as a woman sacrified by unfeeling men but she isn't shown as living enough life to really be a woman. The character dies before she's 22! An alternative title could be "This is why we can't have nice things." If this was remade today, it'd be a great four episode drama special.

Thank god finally someone talked about how messed up Itazura na Kiss was! I watched only the Korean version. I…
Kiss Me - Thai version - is the best of the problemic bunch, I think. Still a lot of manga-styled action but also many more explanations of why the main characters acted the way they did.
Before I watch further. I want to ask what is the relationship between Prasin and Raveet. Is she his ex-girlfriend?
Prasin and Raveet were good good friends. After school, he got a very good job at Thaywa’s dad’s company. Thaywa’s Sister was in s one-sided love with him and tricked him into sleeping with her. When she was pregnant and threatened him, he killed himself and the sister went crazy. At no time did Thaywa ask Raveet, “Who’s that guy with you and two other girls in a photo.” It’s s good story but the communication is whack.
