Okay, real talk here: who is the best character in this drama and why it is Senior Han?! ;_;
Senior Han - oh, he was the best man here. Good looking, great fighter and didn’t have his head up his butt. Notice that he is the second man on all the posters?
Just watched the ending on YT but unsubbed - I knew there wasn't going to be a happy ending but Ying Zheng basically killed or drove away anyone who ever meant anything to him.
Umm, this whole story was ruined for me by the son character. It may seen cute to push much of the responsibility for the OTP's problems onto a promise to a whiney kid but - it wasn't. As a parent, I felt pretty disgusted with this story line.
When I first heard about this lakorn I was excited for it because the pairing would be Bella and Pong. I love…
Yes, Pong is still hot. I'm sure somewhere, there is a portrait of him that is all saggy, bald and spotty. I was also surprised by Andrew Scott - his acting is getting much more solid as he gets older, too. The main girls, however, could have been played by any number of actresses.
Although I don't think he'd ever make it as a lead, he has a charming air about him and a very open face. Good supporting actor - it's easy to believe him!
For those who have watched this: I have a question about how and when did Meng Jue get his sense of taste back. I think I might have missed the explanation of this.
I am sad to admit my ship has officially wrecked ep 32. I cannot forgive the King, :/ Now it's gonna be awkward...
One thing popped in up these last few episodes that really struck me. I don't think she really loves the King. She appreciates him, she understands him to a certain extent and she has some affection for - mostly because she knows how crappy the life of a king really is. But that is not actually romantic love. As for Ying Zheng, well, I think Zheng is becoming a bit of a one note guy as a would be lover. "You will stay with me because I say so!" He's shown some of his feelings for her - but nothing that would true love. I finally saw the translated scene with the three little kids. She wants to end wars, Younger Senior Brother wants to get really good at sword fighting and Zhang only wants to get revenge on those who looked down on him. Flash forward all those years and - yep - he's still looking for revenge. She's been "chivalrous" to Zheng almost every time and what does it get her? Torture and a trip out of town. I know who the leads are in this show but that doesn't make me any happier with his treatment of her!
if nobody commented it, it means no eng subs. my two favourite actors in it and no eng subs :(
I looked this up because of Kong (Rome is okay, too!) but I was also pleased to see Mick BoromwutiI - he makes me laugh! Nary a subtitle to be found, though . . .
4 couples, each a different love story w/ different dynamics, lots of hot men and women... This a joy to watch.…
Her crying - "so bad even a toddler could fake it better" - that kind of review actually makes me want to go look this up on Daily Motion. I caught a bit here and there and liked the fight scenes the best. Also, my husband commented on the visible difference between the extras - real, country Thai people - and the actors - real, city and many half-Thai actors.
Yuan isn't actually here. But I'm sure he would have been charmed.
You're welcome!
