Why would you care about light settings, makeups or CGI when the story is interesting, acting is top class, OSTs are amazing and cp chemistry is on fire??
This is just a drama, which is based on a video game, of course the costumes will be different than other period dramas. And the actors will act according to their given characters.

So far soo good.....enjoying every minute of this drama. Even the side characters are fun to watch. Esther's cuteness, xukai's sexy stares and wan peng's gorgeous appearance are distracting me to focus on the dialogues tbf, that's why episodes are getting lengthy for me🥲
