I loved most of the cast but wow... the script was horribly disappointing. I am usually pretty forgiving but I am struggling to give any stars after ep 8.
This drama ...feels like a script from 2011. The story is dragging..the villain is crazy, the parents and agency owner are selfish... I don't get the point of the secrets being secrets anymore. The only person I like is the younger brother, but I don't get why they wrote him out of the story.
I feel mad as hell.. why didnt they show his face at the end? Is he LJH or his body double? Was he late to the…
It is him, If you freeze it when there is 1:56 remaining, you can see his side profile. I agree...It is pretty annoying they didn't show his face while hugging her. It's strange decision by the director or editor.
Even tho there are many plot holes and questions unanswered, I still actually did enjoy this drama. 8/10 for me.
I agree. I would give it 8 out 10. I started to wonder if there were really 4 more episodes with so many loose ends. The backstory wasn't great. The redemption for me was the chemistry between the leads and the second leads. Overall I enjoyed the story even with it's imperfections.
I find the script way to predictable. It's a pretty classic Kdrama story. Rich -parents trying to control the who their children marry. A want to be girlfriend vying for power, going after anyone standing in her way. An ex-seeking revenge for her child even though that child doesn't want any part of it. A contract relationship to skirt around the drama between the leads. They may have met in the past,, linked again together in the future but their childhood trauma and current challenges have left a mystery, only to cause confusion, misunderstanding and far more costly problems. I'll watch it but it lacks to many elements to make it memorable at this point.
If you've seen 7 First Kisses... You will know what you get...Mediocre script with lots of eye candy.....AKA One sizable commercial for Lotte Duty Free department stores and the high-end products they carry.
It's a typical Chinese romcom drama targeting teens to twenty-somethings. The plot and characters are a bit unrealistic, but in the end, it was an easy story to follow about a sweet couple. It is what it is.
Hey everyone.. The eternal shame culture Korean celebrities are confronted with is real, which is one reason why the suicide rate is high. It is amazing KIM HYUN JOONG has pressed through the weight of it all and started fresh. The Korean's, on the other hand, seem to still be stuck back in the fog.. If the national audiences don't pick up and watch this show, the network could cancel it early...It happens people. I can't imagine what this will do to KHJ's future on tv.
I wanted to offer a suggestion if you really want your support to be known for KHJ or this drama in general....

Yes in this respect I complete understand your point and agree. It was a slap in the face to both the subscribers and employees. The whole thing has felt grossly disrespectful. I'm sure many drama fans won't be eager to join anything ATT-WB launches.

Yes they do have the resources but dramafever on it's own has limited growth potential. I don't fault them, as a larger company the route they are going gives them the greatest profit potential. The question is will the general public want to pay for another subscription service like Netflix, hulu or Amazon prime
I read OndemandKores is planning to offer many of the titles subbed. Subscription is $7 a month. I saw a promo for2 free months on dramamilk.com on for ODK on a recent blog pages for 100 Days My Prince. I'll see if I can find it.

Yes the thing is the subscription memberships have a cap being a specialized product. They had 300000 to 400000 viewers each month in 12 counties, not all were paid members. Dramas went from $80000 to licence to several million in 9 years.
Att must have felt it made more sense to build a media platform so they can take on Netflix. More paid viewers, offering content, offers a larger potential to grow as a service provider.
It makes me "uncomfortable" that I didn't get to finish this before Drama Fever went boom.Is anyone subbing the…
It's still being subbed and released on other online platforms outside of North America. I have a friend who watched it subbed on non licensed platforms such as dramalike.tv hours before DF had it uploaded
I think Viki is good enough for at least one more year as they have a partnership with Kocowa (Viki Pass Plus),…
It's not exactly less. Viki also offers dramas from other Korean networks with VPP. Your getting two different drama packages. It all depends on if you want the additional content or not. I guess if you only care about the big 3 then yes it is $3 less a month. If you want both kocowa and regular viki pass dramas...the Pass Plus options is a $20 savings.
Right now basic viki is 30% off. You can add the VPP for $50 more, the differece is minor for new subscribers.
Do you know where else has beauty inside or devilish joy?? Preferably a place that actually has licenses for them????
If you live in the US you can't subscribe to viu. I wish it was possible, but they only cover asia for the most part. You can only watch the free dramas if you change your VPN region to one of the countries they service.
