I just finished at 4. I enjoy both leads but I agree the script has gone flat with 6 more episodes to go. Not…
I will most likely do the same.

This is starting to feel draggy, and it's only 1/2 way through. He medicates his past insecurity and trauma from being betrayed and abandoned with obscene amounts of liquor and moaning, and she is a selfish and self-motivated liar and thief. I just don't get why he is still consumed by her after so long, or what her "big" secret is that she had to deceive him. I need some redemptive reasoning to keep me interested.

Title So It's You
not trying to shame anyone but she doesn't have muscles...The actress in the original korean was already skinny…
The actress in the Korean version put on a ton of weight for the role.

I love the original, I don't have much confidence in a C-drama version but we shall see.

What happened? It was rated 8.4 a few days ago:/
I have only watched up to 24 subbed and up to 32 raw so I am basically commenting by observation for part of my statement. I am including some mild spoilers so you can skip reading if you wish.

If people are following the leads for a cute romance, it's not found here. They may be ready to drop it.
The marriage and life conflicts have taken over the story, it's hard to remember when the couple as happy. They've been stressed most of the time. The "mothers" were a bit overwhelming while the FL was pregnant and recovering from giving birth. The money issues were piling up. The ML job is super toxic, so he went on to make a major professional change without consulting his wife, which includes partnering up (work only) with the girl that was crushing on him at the start of the drama. FL stops trusting the ML after finding out, she moves out and wants a divorce, but they still have to remain connected through her being assigned to work with the company her husband is now employed.
Honestly, they don't have many happy moments to balance all of the angst between them. . I suspect from the previews there will be a major crisis with the health crisis. The previews and intro and exits to the show imply at some point the FL will get hit by a car, the ML is in the hospital for some reason, and another where their son is sitting on a hospital bed. There will be a dramatic plot twist next week which restores the couple back to remember why they got married. Also, the girl that was crushing on the ML early on is now into his cousin which will ease the FL's fears.
Anyway, The flirting with the 2 side couples takes the edge off a little. It will all get resolved, but the middle is filled with a lot of miscommunication from the leads.
It not really a warm and fuzzy story, if that is what people thought they were starting.

Has anybody noticed or is it only me that the new episodes didn't get aired on Dec 30 and 31?
This always happens when a drama airing date falls on a major International or Korean holiday. Thankfully, this will be finished airing by the time we get to the Lunar New Year. A number of dramas will be delayed the week of Feb 12th from all of the Asian markets.

Hello. MGTV Drama Channel can you set up the English Subtitles.
The fansubber is taking a break until 2021. Shes been pretty much subbing nonstop since Sept. She is fast. She usually releases one episode of a drama each night unless she is focusing on more than one drama at a time.

It doesn't seem that extreme to me. I had to look up their real ages. The both look younger than they are IMO.He…
We are looking at this story from completely different lenses. I'm speaking from my personal experience. As I said I live in Korea, I also have many Chinese friends here. My closest friend from high school was a refugee from Loas as well as three students from Japan. I spent a lot of time at all their homes with their families. None of these cultures are identical but they all carry similarities between them, especially when comes to superstitions around womens health, pregnancy and marriage. Traditional beliefs, cultural wives tales and spiritual values, dictates family dynamics and personal responsibility, such as honoring elders, role of women and men, health advice, raising children and so on...These beliefs or actions will seem illogical and unreasonable to a outsider many times but are very much alive in some places in people still. My Korean and Chinese friends joke that only grandmas watch dramas. They elderly are a very big part of the audience. Family centered drama`s usually have a few characters with a heightened level of personality flaws and beliefs. That's not only for entertainment factor. The crazy characters negative traits accentuate a message aimed to encourage a old mindset to a new one. There is the moral objective. Anyways, dont have to share the same view . My point is what you find unrealistic, I see has a genuine layer of truth behind.Everyone is free to choose what they enjoy watching and what they relate to.

Yes to each his own. I would disagree it doesn't fit in an international market. It may not be as easily digestible for those from a western market but I am sure there are those outside of china who can relate or appreciate the differences. It's a big world, we dont always see it the same way.5 years years thing- There are people who focus on ther job and never date. Parents get desperate in asia who actively set their children up on blind dates. I dont think he didnt have a date at all in the past five years. The point is the relationship five years ago put him off taking it seriously. He was planning to cross the line at work. You cant control who your attracted to, you can only decide how you'll respond. As for his 3 million pay out. He knows his value. Other companies offer to cover it along with increasing his current salary, he pulls his own money first to cut ties with his current job so he can accept the job offer. The situation gets complicated when the market changes and his new employer backs out. He was never suppose to be in a financial disadvantage, the biggest loss for him is leaving a company he loves. The MIL issues are pretty normal though a bit embellished, actually I know people with situations like this. I can only speak from my experience living in Asia and having chinese and korean friends. Many swear they would rather stay single in fear of such a MIL. Here family dynamics are very different from the west, your marrying the family not just your spouse, though things are changing. Its 40 35 min episode (minus the intro and exit) it's not much longer than 20 part kdrama.I'm personally enjoying it. Yeah if it's not your cup of tea, there is always coffee.
