The FL and ML are reunited at the end after 500 years of FL begging the Ancestral god/stone. It is a “real happy ending” but we want more of it! We wanted to see their kid in the picture as well. It ended too quick and we barely get to experience any happiness after so much heartbreak towards the end of the drama. Definitely is worth watching, it starts slow but gets better and better.

Oh, it took me three months to convince myself to watch the first 11 episodes. Then I finished binge watching the rest for three days and it turned out to be my top 1 drama. Enjoy ☺️

I hate Mu Guang. He had the power to stop everything but he was too chicken for it. So ungrateful and useless towards the whole drama. He should’ve suffered more and serve his sentence of betraying gods.

She got what she deserved at the end, best ending for a villain so far for me!

Trust me, age doesn’t matter when it comes to films. I can be in my 40s and love dramatic romance/angst. If you love this type of genre, I’d encourage you to keep continuing because it just gets better. It’s slow at first but that’s how all xianxia dramas are like, if you’re not patient then you can drop this drama and miss out on a gem 💎

We, xianxia watchers, have no problem with the cgi cause it’s a normal thing for us. Not just us but in the world of xianxia genre, we don’t expect much but just enjoy the beautiful scenery. However it depends how people prioritize the elements in a drama/movie. Chemistry and storyline is what we’re looking for. Superb cgi? If done well, that’s a plus! Other than that everyone seems to be swooning over the chemistry.

Perfectly said, Si Feng was a big time simp spitting blood throughout the drama. Glad to see something different from his character this time with much more depth.

Stopped watching since ep 26 cause I hate waiting for upcoming episodes. Going to binge watch instead once it’s finished so everything will hit me like a wave of emotional rollercoaster in 3-4 days. That way it’ll be much more heartbreaking and tragic for me to experience the drama all in one go 🥲🤣

Yumo isn’t even bad at all compared to other SMLs. I can name so many that actually fits the definition of obsession but Yumo isn’t even close to it. He’s such an innocent soul towards YD. I hope it stays that way til the end!

I don’t mind them bickering over YD. I just hope there’s some nice bromance as well because the romance is too slow burn for now. A new element would be nice

Is it just me or does Tian Qi look like he was dancing with his fighting moves against Bai Jue at the marriage ceremony with Jing Zhao? It was all so serious until I couldn’t take his fighting seriously and burst out laughing 😂

Can someone give me a thorough and genuine review of the drama without being biased of Xiao Zhan because I see many fans here. I’m trying to see if this drama is worth watching and would appreciate any unbiased comments, thanks.

Love comes in all forms and even if I liked Yumo’s character, I wouldn’t say that it’s because we love those type of men. I just think many forgot how he treated Yan Dan in the heaven realm. Even to the point when he saw Yan Dan performing the Genesis of War play to someone else after he missed the play, he clearly was heartbroken but let it go because he wasn’t the type to force her. He only changed his treatment towards YD after he knew how sad and cold her life was before the mortal arc. He wanted what’s best for her and her safety and doesn’t want to risk losing her again. Yes, he’s always with her all the time and thinks she can’t protect herself independently, but that’s not enough for me to dislike him. I’m still waiting for him to finally come to a conclusion that YD can do fine on her own but wait, the moment she’s out on her own, trouble comes because our Taoist Tang is what’s causing YM to go crazy over YD’s disappearance once again LOL

Of course, I love YY/TZ but that doesn’t mean I’ll dislike YM just because they’re both fighting for the same FL. YY and YD’s chemistry is off the charts also hence why I’m not concerned with Yumo stealing YD lol. Because obviously YM has no chance with her at all duh XD. I honestly can’t wait to see them trios fighting together against others. I’m probably one of the few people that likes Yumo just because I also sympathized with his character. Everyone interprets YM’s actions differently so different perspectives are respected.

The reason why so many still love Tian Qi’s character was because they never fully gave us a proper story/view of Shanggu as a kid spending time with Tian Qi. Further more, he didn’t have any other ill intentions besides trying to pursue her only when she’s grown up but sadly got rejected. It’s the fact that he still genuinely protected the FL at all cost without expecting anything in return, he wasn’t those typical SML that was overly obsessed and selfish with the girl. There’s definitely flaws in his character but the sacrifices that he’d done really made him likeable for many viewers.

It could’ve been a whole different story if they gave us a proper view of Shanggu as a kid. But then again, it depends on the viewers perspectives so all scenarios are going to be different for everyone.

I meant to say in the name of love, both Tian Qi and Yumo are the same because as long as the person they love are happy, they’ll be happy even if it’s not with them. In terms of character? I definitely love Tian Qi way better, he was one of my favorite character!
